San Francisco CA Beginning this month of October, San Francisco based attorney Lourdes Santos Tancinco will once again flex her immigration law expertise for the benefit of her kababayans in the sixth season of Pusong Pinoy sa Amerika. Always concerned for the future of Filipino migrants and their communities, Attorney Tancinco also dedicates her new season to the past waves of Filipino pioneers--Sakadas, Pensionados, Veteranos, professionals, and other workers--who struggled, survived, and succeeded in laying the foundations for Filipinos in America. Indeed, the overarching theme of season 6 of Pusong Pinoy is titled, Looking Back, Moving Forward. While honoring the past, Tancinco will also tackle the pressing issues the Filipino immigrant of today struggles with. In the episode, Different Routes for Adopting Children, Tancinco navigates through the issues of petitioning relatives and orphans from the Philippines through adoption, and informs viewers of the pitfalls to avoid in the process. Marriages, annulments, and divorces often complicate the immigration process, and Tancinco once more clears the confusion in the episode Revisiting Marriages with Multiple Divorces. In Shelters from Abusive Relationships, Tancinco devotes this episode to finding relief in immigration law for victims of domestic abuse. Last years Season 5 of Pusong Pinoy sa Amerika was a great leap forward in content and style, with high-production values, high-definition cameras, and co-host/entertainer extraordinaire Randy Santiago helping to elevate Tancincos law expertise to new heights. Season 6 will only build upward from the groundwork laid in the previous season, with a new A-list co-host joining Tancincos side: actor, writer, and director of film and television, Eric Quizon. A multi-awarded Filipino artist, Bernardo Bernardo, is this seasons director. Viewers of Pusong Pinoy will be greeted once again with a formula of information that educates and empowers, coupled with dramatizations and eye-catching graphics to keep them engaged and entertained. Regular segments return, like Iba ang Pinoy, interviews with extraordinary figures in the Filipino community, and Kadalasang Katanungan sa Pusong Pinoy sa Amerika, (KK sa PPA) viewer-submitted video questions answered directly by Tancinco. Visa 101, a dramatic, 13-part Immig-serye returns with an all new storyline that tears at the heartstrings, yet ultimately inspires viewers. Talented and well known

comedienne Louella Albornoz Angeles will be making a special appearance in Visa 101 together with local artists. A co-production of GMA Pinoy TV and Tancinco Law Offices, Pusong Pinoy sa Amerikas goal is to demystify the often intimidating realm of immigration law, to inspire Filipino immigrants to believe in better lives and to expand their horizons and eventually empower our community.
