KEY DELIVERABLES:

Into Structured Trade Review (OTC-Credit Derivative products) for a leading global investment bank (our client), where my job involves: Understanding, Analyzing and Reviewing Trades using term sheets and confirmations. Ensuring all the trade economics, pay-off profiles (complex math formulae) and pricing factors are correctly captured in the product valuation. Follow-up over issues and implementation of trade amendments where necessary with the relevant areas (Front office, Trading Strategists, Operations and Business Unit Controllers). Validation of any changes to the initial bookings.

Nov 2005 to Dec 2010 with CRISIL Ltd, Global Analytical Centre Structured Finance. Ratings Department As Executive Project: Collateral Debt Obligation (CDO) KEY DELIVERABLES: Process Management Monitoring overall functioning of processes, identifying improvement areas and implementing adequate measures for rectifying the same. Assisting the Analyst in the publication of CDO Index by analyzing and updating various Index Trackers. Preparing a Target Achieving Matrix, so that the daily target of each individual can be achieved easily. Reviewing and studying the periodical trustee performance reports of CDO deals and preparing reports which help S&P Analysts (US and UK) for surveillance rating of CDO deals. Carrying out validations on reports to ensure whether all the business rules are correctly incorporated and all the data is correctly sourced.

Team Supervision Managing Team functions viz. manpower planning, induction, performance monitoring, etc. Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that cultivates development opportunities and motivates high performance amongst team members. Conducting team meetings to identify common triggers and problems in achieving the TAT and during the month and resolving them by doing the RCA, so that the desired TAT can be achieved.

MIS / Reporting Generating daily, weekly and monthly reports to achieve productivity and ensuring that the target is met. Analyzing data gaps and discrepancies and resolving the same by providing accurate data.

Preparing list of all the exceptions relating to the missing data and things assumed, etc.

Training & Development Provides Product, Process and Conceptual training to new joiners in the organization. Imparting training on Synthetic CDO including the concept, working and the structure of Synthetic CDOs. HIGHLIGHT:

Assisting the Primary Analyst in assigning primary rating to a new CDO deal and in surveillance of the existing deals Worked on Asia Pacific New Deal set up (NDS) pilot project. Setting up new CDO deals for Asia Pac Region by using S&Ps, CDO Evaluator Tool.
