Is it me or is it him?

KJV: John Chapter 14 [12] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. [13] And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. [14] If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. [15] If ye love me, keep my commandments. [16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. This is an interesting scripture, in verse 12 it says that he will do also and greater then these shall he do because I go unto my father. Yet, in verse 13 it says "amd whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do". So, who is it actually doing these miracles? Lets look further into this and find out...

KJV: Matthew Chapter 17 [20] And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Here it seems very clear, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, go over there and it will go over there, and nothing will be impossible to you. Here he is saying "ye or you" will say, nothing will be impossible unto "you". So here we have another delema because we have to be capable of causing these effects but why are there mostly no Christians that can do these things? The answer is simple and is shown here in verse 20 which states: "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief:". Well, what is unbelief? Unbelief is a state of not believing. 1. (n.) unbelief incredulity or skepticism. Definition of 'skepticism' Princeton's WordNet 1. (noun) incredulity, disbelief, skepticism, mental rejection doubt about the truth of something Hmm...so how do we handle doubt? First things first, we must understand something before we can defeat it. Where does doubt come from and what effect does it actually have on the psychi of a human being? For many thousands of years Satan has been hard at work developing his plan for the world that is contrary to God's plan. This is a big job since the only possible purpose for such an endevour is to be victorious, but over whom? Since he is being "contrary to God's plan" then his (Satan's) plan is obviously intended to defeat God's plan. We have to understand something...for starters we as

Christians know full well that Satan is capable of many things, but defeating God is not one of them. He in effect is taking on way more then he can chew here, however...he does believe that he can...defeat God, obviously since any level of intellect would have to agree with the human statement "if you can't beat them, join them". So it seems rather obvious that Satan actually believes he will beat God, or he wouldn't try. Now let's try to understand this from Satan's point of view...remember, in order to defeat one's enemy we must understand that enemy and this is not contrary to the Word of God. What could we do if we honestly believed we could defeat God, to do so successfully? First things first, we would have to convince a large number of people that there is no God, we are talking about a people who have actually met him and seen his power and might. How do we accomplish this? Well for starters, he cannot possibly do this because they have seen this power and for a select few, they have seen the Creator. Now what do we do? We have to plan our stratagy over a long period of time, generations. This has to be a multi-generational plan. Over thousands of years we would have to convince the people that God does not exist, but where do we start? We would start by convincing them that Satan does not exist because if there is no Satan then there must be no God. How do we accomplish this when stories are passed down and scripture is written etc etc. We invent a fake science that leaves no need for a God or a devil and we remove all evidence of a God from our schools and make sex and other sins fun. Now, with the fake science, once we have this pounded into people long enough they begin to lose the ability to call on the Lord, in this event, faith takes on a whole new meaning and no longer means what it used to mean. Remember, without faith, it is impossible, anything we wish to do that goes beyond the laws of known physics becomes impossible. We also have to keep concensis in mind, when we have everyone around us who does not believe in anything beyond the laws of physics, this can easily rub off on us for a variety of reasons. How do we overcome this type of conditioning? Simple, well...simple to explain at least. We have to remember "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do;", this tells us that all of this is available to us upon command. But how with everything designed to make this unreachable? Again, first things first. We must "re-condition" ourselves. We do this by taking a "leap of faith". Remember the old saying "Practice makes perfect"? Well, we have to start somewhere and I can think of no better place to begin. Begin to say things that go beyond the laws of physics and decide to believe them, do this all of the time and do not let failures stand in your way because the more you tell yourself something the more you will believe what you say. Remember, how many times did you have to hear something negative for you to believe it? Secondly, we have a sort of ace-in-the-hole, prayer. "KJV: Matthew Chapter 21 [22] And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." One big thing that all true Christians should be praying for is the illimination of doubt. Remember, with Him all things are possible, without Him, nothing is possible. Now, back to the very purpose of this discussion. Who is it that is responsible for miracles that "We" speak? Let's refer to a few scriptures for this answer: KJV: John Chapter 14 [17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. KJV: Romans Chapter 8 [10] And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is

life because of righteousness.[11] But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. KJV: Philippians Chapter 2 [5] Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: KJV: II Peter Chapter 1 [8] For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. [10] Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: The scripture in all of this that we cannot forget is this: KJV: Matthew Chapter 17 [20] And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Here Christ himself is saying "you will move this mountain, nothing will be impossible to whom? YOU". However, with power comes great responsibility, but where does it say that we have this power? KJV: Matthew Chapter 9 [8] But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men. KJV: Matthew Chapter 10 [1] And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. KJV: Matthew Chapter 10 [6] But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. [7] And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. [8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. KJV: Luke Chapter 10 [19] Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. [20] Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. KJV: Luke Chapter 24 [49] And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. KJV: John Chapter 1 [12] But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: KJV: Acts Chapter 1 [7] And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. [8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Juda, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

KJV: Acts Chapter 6 [8] And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. KJV: Acts Chapter 10 [38] How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Be it known amongst God's people one simple fact, that is that he has given you power to use for his will, with him all things are possible, without him nothing is possible that goes beyond the laws of physics. Be not proud in this power that he has given you because as fast as he has given it to you he can remove it. You my brothers and sisters can do anything you command, if YOU say unto that mountain, he did not say "If you have faith I will move this mountain for you" he said "YOU shall say...nothing shall be impossible unto YOU". We have been given power from on high and are expected to use it, Christ turned water into wine and rocks into bread..."and greater works than these shall he do". Who is he? He is YOU. Greater is He who is in me then he who is in the world. If He be in you (or for you) then who can be against you? We have POWER to tread on serpents and scorpions, use that which he has given you, do not forget where this power comes from (credit where credit is due, and without Him we would have NO power) and go and serve God.
