INSTRUCTIONS 1. The Written Test will start at 10.00AM. The candidates must report to the Written Test Centre by 09.00AM, failing which they will not be permitted to take the test. Candidates will be given

important instructions for filling up the details in the question booklet and OMR answer sheet. 2. The candidates must produce the Permission Slip duly affixing a passport size photograph. Please keep another one separately for being directed for medical examination in case of your final selection. 3. The candidates should leave books and other study materials outside the examination hall. 4. Calculators, Cell Phones and other electronic devices will NOT BE ALLOWED inside the examination hall. Candidates are therefore advised not to bring these items to the Examination Centre. 5. The candidates must maintain utmost discipline both inside the hall and outside. Any candidate found copying, attempting to copy or indulging in any indiscipline will be disqualified from writing the test. 6. The candidates must ensure that they sign their attendance against their names correctly. 7. The candidates will NOT BE PERMITTED to leave the Examination Hall till the end of the Test. ABOUT THE WRITTEN TEST The Written Test will be of Multiple Choice Objective type of 1 hours duration. The candidates' performance in the Written Test will determine whether he/she qualifies for further consideration. 1. The Written Test will consist of questions to test candidates' knowledge in the subjects specified as part of minimum educational qualifications for the post and also other tests for General Intelligence. 2. For each question there will be four options (a, b, c & d) and only one of the options is correct. The candidate will be required to choose the correct answer and indicate his/her choice in the Answer Sheet. 3. The Answer Sheet is a special OMR (Optical Mark Reader) sheet. For answering the Test questions, there will be circular spaces in the Answer Sheet. The chosen answer is to be indicated by completely darkening one of the circular spaces with blue / black ballpoint pen. Any other method of answering will be taken as incorrect answer. 4. The candidates have to write their Name, Roll Number, Trade, Question Booklet No. and Question Booklet Series in the OMR Answer Sheet and have to darken the corresponding circles without fail.
