1. Academic Information Management System

Description : Academic Information Management System (AIMS) is a software package developed
for recording the academic activities of each individual students and their respective
academic performance to the database. Academic performance of each student
progress can be generated using AIMS software in the form of reports. Information
related to Degree programme offered by College of Engineering, and other constituent
colleges of Anna University are maintained, based on that students are evaluated
according to their respective degree.
Responsibilities:
· Installed Oracle 9i Database software in Windows NT, created database according to the requirement
of Application Software, monitored and configured databases.
· Oracle Database Administration (logical & Physical database backup, database tuning)
Daily database backup, tablespace administration, SQL net configurations and basic database tuning as
part of maintenance activities.
· Maintenance of existing system and provide advanced level support.

2. TNEA – 2004 and 2005 (Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions System)

Description : Distributed Engineering Admission processing for all over Tamilnadu engineering
colleges done by Anna University. It’s around 235 engineering colleges are situated,
and around 50,000 seats are filled by this processing. Maintaining 1,40,000 records to
fill for the 50,000 engineering seats. Oracle 9i was the database on the Sun Solaris
operating system and Developer 2k was the front end software on the Windows 2000
operating system.

Responsibilities:
· DBA Activities -Development and Implementation Installation of Oracle database on Sun Solaris
Installing Developer 2000 on client nodes (Windows 2000).
· Created links between the four database servers.
· Installation of Oracle server, OEM and associated tools.
· Configured SQL *Net on client nodes. Creating Table spaces, Users. User role creation.
· Security and Disk space Management. Loading data from ASCII files into Oracle database.

Description : This system is developed to computerize the activities of the Association of State
Road Transport Undertakings towards the acquisition of varies components of spare
used in buses owned by State Transport. Rate Contract Module processes the
information provided through price master based on various parameter such as volume
of supply, reliability of supply over a long term and quality. This module consists of
various user input screens. The processed information generated in the form of
reports. The other reports towards statistical studied of Per Kilo Meter cost of
operating fleets of buses owned by State Transport was integrated in the final phase of
project for providing Statistical information to Ministry of Surface Transport,
Government of India.
Responsibilities:
· Involved in System study, Analysis, Design and Developed screens using forms.
· Developed back-end Stored Procedures, triggers, functions.
· Worked on import/export and Sql- loader.

2. Post Graduation Admission System

Description : The admission processing system has been developed and implemented successfully.
Different courses like M.E., M.Sc. and M. Tech have different admission procedures.
The system developed is menu driven and the user initially has to select the course
name from the pull down menu. Overall merit list and community wise merit lists are
generated.
