Greetings,
On Sunday August 27th 2006, Streets of New York Marketing Agency Inc. and Bonnie Sandy Enterprises will be holding
“The World Dance 2k6”, a trade and cultural event, celebrating Caribbean heritage, Community Spirit and Culture. This
celebration is an effort to bridge the generation gap and ensure the survival of the culture of Carnival. We have designated
the hours of 12 noon to 6pm as Family Fun Day, which features Games, Magic shows, Characters, Clowns, Face painting
and workshops in the arts of Mas making. The theme is " It Takes a Village” Free admission to all children under 12 yrs, it is
our hope that the community will pull together to provide workshops, creative and cultural scholarships and free snacks.

The Main feature is the Mas Boutique a trade and cultural event that brings all ‘Mas Productions’ to one central location
with the intent of showcasing costumes and increasing band registrations! This sale of costumes and merchandise for the
Labor Day celebrations targets members of the community who may not traditionally have access not knowledge of traditional
mas camps, nor the time in their hectic schedule to visit these locations. Our long term goal is to increase awareness and
appreciation for the Caribbean culture! This innovation is an extension of shopping parties that have been successfully
deployed and increased sales within the Brooklyn fashion industry. The Mas boutique will also facilitate the sale of Wearable
art and clothing by local designers as well as locally produced arts and crafts items. With one week before the official end of
summer and thousands of visitors already in the city for the Labor Day festivities and a targeted attendance of 6000., The
World Dance boutique will be one on the largest shopping parties or as Caribbean lingo dictates “fete” produced in Brooklyn.

We have succeeded in obtaining the necessary permits, to close of Hinsdale Ave between Liberty Ave and Atlantic Ave.
We hope to utilize this section for a block party with community related events, please see our event details. We also wish to
include health screening, and introduce community groups and services to the families in attendance, as well as Immigration
and other community related info centers, Voter registration and Political platform to all candidates. We are also hoping to
stage a Book fair Highlighting Caribbean Authors, a youth Steel orchestra, a live painting challenge with the resulting
canvases being auctioned to an aids and Domestic Violence related charity within our community. We look forward to your
participation in this worthwhile project.

To participate please contact Bonnie Sandy Sterling @ 347-489-1268 or (646) 736-7941
