Envisioneer Service Release

The following document explains new features or fixes that are included in Envisioneer version 7.1 since version 7.0 was released.

Installation Notes
Due to the size of the update, this is a new install. Your existing version 7 should be uninstalled before 7.1 is installed. Be sure to backup any of your catalogs and templates that you would like to retain by copying them from your Templates and Catalogs directory to a safe location.

Feature Improvements and Additions

Enable Polygon Consolidation: A flag has been added under Program Settings > Workspace that enables or disables Polygon Consolidation. This is used for removing the interior intersection lines when generating elevations. With this feature on, it can sometimes cause issues with disappearing walls if building locations are not set at proper heights and turning the feature off will correct this issue. Import DWG: When importing DWG files, the scale is now automatically recognized and the values are displayed in the dialog. Import PDF: The default drawing scale is now used by default for imported PDFs. Import PDF: Fonts that are now on the system are better handled and give options to ignore or convert to raster. Cut-List Printing: Ability to print off Cut-Lists from the cut list dialog has been implemented. Quoins improvements; Number of quoins allowed has been increase from 20 to 999.

Maintenance Improvements
Cut list Grouping: Elements and Assemblies are properly comparing their Phase and ID numbers which consolidate the identical Phases and removes duplicates during the report. New From Template: This command is now working properly when accessed from the Worksheet mode. Project Trace Image: Fix implemented to some bitmaps which were being brought in and displayed mirrored. Leaders in Model View: Multiple insertion flag now working properly. Text Dialog: The problem where the Library button was not visible on some systems is corrected. Print Scale: Issue where scale is displaying in imperial when current units are set to metric is now displaying properly.

Site Boundary: Text overlapping issues are corrected.

Envisioneer Service Release

Schedules: Issues relating to alignment of text marks has been corrected. Columns: The Inner void in a hollow core style column is now omitting the hatching as it should be. Roof Accessories: The missing accessory issue in saved documents has been corrected. Roof Framing: The updating of framing in resized roofs are now accurately updating. Custom Blocks Cabinets: Blocks imported as cabinets that caused anomalies in saved catalogs has been corrected. CAD Details: Some CAD Details that contain hatching were causing a program speed decrease when exploded due to improper pattern scaling. This has been rectified. Member Schedule: Schedule updated to use new Purchased Member field instead of old Cut Length variable. Nudge: Spinner in the Program Settings dialog now working correctly. Text Style: Italic and Bold settings are now being displayed properly in model views. SketchUp Import: Importing SKP files now bring in surface colors correctly. Columns: Blocks that are imported as custom columns now behave correctly in the View Filter. Export to Image: Some bitmaps were flipping the resultant exported image and this has now been corrected. Quantities: Some quantities were calculating incorrectly when the unit of measure was set to the Feet-Inches-Sixteenths format. Terrain Objects: The issue when using solid colors on terrain objects that were showing terrain textures instead has been corrected.
