The Association for International Relations carries out regular rounds of trainings in the fields of politics, international relations, diplomacy and national security, communication and internet communications activism. These programs are designed for both individual and corporate partners from business, civic and policy worlds wishing to improve their capacities in these important fields of action. COMMUNICATION POLITICAL COMMUNICATION

This module is aimed at the students and organizations interested in the field of communications, fields mass media and politics. It is aimed at exploring the key areas of working with political partners and audiences utilizing mass communication means more effectively. According to the standards of AIR it provides both a theoretical insight and practical training aimed at improving the capacity for effective insight design and communication of political message and policy platform.

POLITICAL ACTION

This module is focusing on building effective set of skills for political action and is of interest to politically active individuals and civic and political organizations. Its objective is to introduce the individuals, vast array of mechanisms and methods for political action and to train its participants in using them.

The program improves both the organization and personal skills in political organization, policy planning and organizational strategy. The program invests in introducing its participants to winning strategies for political debate and writing, political volunteering and fundraising.

DIPLOMACY THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF POLITICS AND DIPLOMACY

This module is intended for individual students as well as organizations aiming to improve their knowledge and abilities in studying and analyzing international relations and politics and have both academic and practical interest in the issues of policy analysis, diplomacy and national security. It is designed as an effective blend of a theoretical background and practical knowledge to help advance the understanding of the key dilemmas facing modern politics, diplomacy and international security.

THE INTERNET, SOCIAL MEDIA AND POLITICS

The internet had become one of the major driving forces behind the global economy, business, democracy and the freedom of speech. It has a huge capacity to empower individuals and organizations and to spread new ideas and innovations rapidly and widely. The aim of the program is to improve the knowledge of the internets effects on governance, development, and research and communication and to enhance the skills, abilities and the intuition of researchers, analysts, NGO and political activists and public sector employees for effectively operating in the World Wide Web for the purposes of more effective policy analysis, research and civic action.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS FOR WORKING WITH INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

The module is targeting the professionals who want to enter the highly competitive job market with multinational development organizations and corporations. It aims at delivering basic knowledge and awareness of the industry and improving the key abilities that are necessary for successfully lending of and adapting to a new job in this field. It focuses on the two sets of skills and knowledge: at the initial phase students are introduced to the effective writing of CVs and cover letters, filing of applications for jobs and universities and preparing for the interviews. The second, more advanced stage trains them in creating project descriptions, narrative and financial reports, using project log frames and monitoring ongoing programs and activities.
