Pilates for Ageless Strength


Though muscle mass and strength decrease with age, the proper type of exercise can help you maintain functional strength, optimal mobility, prevent falls, and respond confidently to everyday physical demands. This more gentle approach to the Pilates conditioning method is perfect for the older adult who desires lifelong fitness. Experience weight bearing/weight loading Pilates-based exercises, on and off the Reformer, to enhance core strength, dynamic balance, flexibility, and coordination. Small group class; limited to six participants.

Pilates for Ageless Endurance


Geared towards the older adult, youll find this class easy on the joints and awesome on results. Feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and realigned in this total-body conditioning program combining the cardiovascular benefits of the treadmill, recumbent and upright cycle, and elliptical machine, with the core-strengthening and postural benefits of the Pilates Reformer and Tower. Expect 30 minutes on Pilates apparatus, followed by 30 minutes on cardio equipment of your choice. Increase core strength and bone density, improve endurance, and reduce body fat. Small group class; limited to six participants. (10 classes; no class 11/26)

Stay flexible, feel better, and keep your heart strong. This series will help you gain a better understanding of the changes that are taking place with your body, what exercises and activities are most beneficial, and which to avoid. Well incorporate and educate you about the three major components of fitnessflexibility, cardio, and strength. Youll learn ways to increase circulation, improve balance, strengthen muscles and bones, alleviate aches and pains, and calm your mind. Small group class; limited to six participants.

Never Too Late Swim Lessons


Join us for these small group classes, and learn to swim with people of similar age (50+) and comfort level in the water. With personal attention from our instructors, youll advance at your own gentle pace. Perfect for those who never learned to swim as children, and that are interested in learning fundamental aquatic skills. Ready to dive in? Its never too late to learn! (10 classes, no class 11/26)

These exercises are gentler on joints and muscles than land-based exercises. Combining the principles of Pilates with the benefits of aquatic exercise, youll strengthen muscles, enhance flexibility and posture, and sharpen coordination through the use of buoyancy, resistance, and gentle movement. Get ready for a workout that will challenge, and relax, your body and mind.
