ABOUT THE COMPANY

The close corporation was established 11 April 2010 and registered as SIVE SETFU ICT SOLUTIONS (Sive ICT) On 2010-11-23. The principle objective of Sive ICT is developing and empowering governments, small micro and medium sized enterprises (SMME) in South Africa and Africa (especially the SADC region) by offering more relevant, affordable and up to date Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions. Sive Setfu ICT Solutions is a Johannesburg based firm utilising the assorted skill sets of professionals from different environments. The firm is ideally located in the capital of economic activity in South Africa and Africa and its current target markets are individuals, Small Medium & Micro Enterprises (SMME) and Governments in Gauteng, Limpopo (Polokwane) and Mpumalanga Province (Nelspruit/Mbombela). Sive ICT is a close corporation fully owned and pioneered by devoted black entrepreneurs, it is a Company composed of three black entrepreneurs, namely: Sibusiso Khoza, Andile Shiba and Bongani Maposho. So it is Worthwhile to say its a completely black owned company with the youth as shareholders of the close corporation, and so it promotes black youth empowerment. SIVE SETFU is a word in siSwati meaning Our Nation in the English language, and SIVE SETFU ICT SOLUTIONS is here to implement the solutions of our nation. Sive Setfu ICT Solutions cc is a specialised South African Information & Communications Technologies (ICT) close corporation, with a difference. Sive Setfu ICT Solutions offers South African and African business individuals, small micro & medium sized enterprises (SMME) and governments a faster, better and easy way of doing business by presenting technologies unique to each business venture. We give the "not yet" recognised businesses and organisations the competitive edge and a new or broader target market for their business by assisting our clients in the transition from old technologies to new and relevant technologies e.g. from paper based file systems to database driven computer applications or software. We realise and understand that information & communication is the exchange & flow of information and ideas from one entity to another. Products and Services Description

PRODUCTS
Custom-developed Mobile & Desktop- and network-based applications allowing as many as 100 users simultaneous access to order processing, quotation processing, pre-sales product request fulfillment, after-sales product support, and custom networked business solution products. These products can be thought of as support applications or tools for a business' sales and marketing staff to work with daily to streamline many repetitive tasks. Basically, these software tools fill in the gaps where businesses may have older operational, educational, organisational, management and marketing systems. Our products can run on older networks and operating systems (windows 98 and above), and do not require a company to upgrade their computer systems past Windows XP if they do not want to. And most of our mobile applications will run on any Java enabled mobile phones including the Vodacom WEBBOX and the MTN INTERNETONTV. Developed Online/offline Applications - DESKTOP-based products are developed to interact with existing OpenOffice(OO) or MS office suits and other commonly used Windows and linux based softwares allowing for user friendly applications. And these applications are built in a way that allows customisable work environment for our clients' business support needs. These applications are usually distributed to targeted markets on our database of the existing market and through our website (siveict.co.za), sourceForge.net, CNET.com and other relevant sites depending on the application as trials and according to the marketing strategy. Developed Online/offline Applications Mobile based products are developed to interact with existing and other commonly used modules on Java and Android enabled Mobile phones and WEBBOX & INTERNETONTV allowing for user friendly applications. And these applications are built in a way that allows customisable work environment for our clients' convenience. Custom support services - SIVE SETFU ICT SOLUTIONS offers custom support services for all of our online, Mobile and DESKTOP-based products and software. Website Design and Development: The service that we offer to small businesses is modeled after the service that larger Web development firms offer Fortune 1000 companies in the sense that it is completely customised and unique to each individual client. Website Marketing and Analysis: After we build the website for our client, or a new client introduces us to their pre-existing site, we offer this service. As experts of the Web, we can analyse and test a website based on an established set of standards that account for the website's aesthetic value, scalability, functionality, ease-of-use, and main customer base. After an analysis has been made, we then explore and present to the client a detailed list of the most efficient Internet marketing tools and methods available to them within the constraints of their budget. This type of service is pertinent to our company given the fact that a very large percentage of our clients are on a tight budget and can only afford to take advantage of marketing efforts that are targeted directly at their desired demographic. Website Maintenance and Support: This service is offered for two reasons. The first reason is because they are both ongoing, continual services that use to establish and maintain a strong relationship with our clients. Managing Director Sibusiso Khoza received his Bachelor of Sciences at the University of Witwatersrand. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Sibusiso had a lot of entrepreneurial ventures, some of which were not so successful and some were doing pretty well. Sibusiso has a proven track record of success in launching new business projects and directing operations for previous Johannesburg-based organisations as Mpumalanga Students Association as Secretary General and running his own investment house of an undisclosed name. While pursuing his entrepreneurial ambitions, Sibusiso began to recognise just how unique his skills were. Most of his colleagues in the science department had technical skills equal to Sibusiso, but had no business sense. Likewise, his colleagues in the business department were very business oriented but struggled with technicality. Upon graduation, Sibusiso went to work for ConvergIN Communications Consultancy (CCC) a consultant to Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) as a software Engineer/Developer. This was a wonderful experience as Sibusiso was surrounded by very bright, analytical and technical people. Sibusiso was given small projects, usually components of larger projects. While this was good experience, he was unable to leverage his business skills under these circumstances. Hence came back to Africa to sharpen his business acumen in the African context of emerging markets by doing a Post-graduate Diploma in Management (PDM) in business administration at the Wits Business School (WBS) where got the opportunity to work and interact with prestigious companies like Accenture, Deloitte, Investec, Ernst & Young, Monitor, bid or buy, impact strategy consulting and others in the business of communications and hightech, management consulting and marketing. All these experiences have provided him with a holistic understanding of business, a broad set of supporting tools and a diverse network. His internship this year (2010) at Accenture in Computer & High-tech (CHT) has allowed him to further develop his skills base and industry experience through a number of key activities within a multinational business. Sibusiso also manages all salesmen, all sales promotions and projects. He is also responsible for all financial related matters in the business.

Operations Director Bongani Maposho has tertiary education of computer systems engineering from the biggest university in South Africa, namely University of Johannesburg. Bongani Maposho owns and operates a Music Recording Studio at SOWETO. Mr. Maposho is an innovator with a lot of years of creative experience in the Music Industry market with an additional 1 year of integrating computers and other technologies as a Junior Field Engineer Intern at most of the country's Tier 1 retailers. As an innovator working with large corporate retailers in the food and fashion sectors has opened his mind to better ways of doing things in Small Medium & Micro Enterprises in South Africa and this inspired his strong entrepreneurial ambitions to go beyond just music but into the software development and graphic design industries. Information Technology Director Andile Shiba received his Bachelor of Sciences at the University of Witwatersrand. He has more than 5 years of work experience in Database driven applications and Enterprise Architecture, acquired while he worked with different companies such as Simeka BSG, Integrated Tertiary Solutions, Telkom SA, Medscheme Holdings (Pty) Ltd (ITQ), Standard bank and other ICT companies. Andile is a well decorated enterprise architect. Andile is a Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SWCD), Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP), Completed OCP (Oracle certified professional)-In Oracle forms 9i, Completed OCA (Oracle certified associate) -SQL+PL/SQL exams. Andile having worked with different ICT companies of different sizes his roles and responsibilities as a Senior Oracle Developer at Standard Bank makes him an ideal partner at Sive Setfu ICT Solutions focusing on the Information Technology operations of the firm.
