Summary Statement and Areas to Concentrate on Improving: Overall, the lesson was well organized and well orchestrated. Students were very engaged in the lesson because they had an opportunity to make a personal choice of what they would research and technology was used to facilitate instruction. Using technology is always a useful strategy, however, it may have been more effective to explain the directions and have students summarize their tasks, before they got to the computers. When they sit down at the computer, all of their attention is not on understanding their tasks at the computer. It would have been very useful to see evidence in the video to see the clear connections between objectives and goals with the assessment outcomes.
