To turn on isometric (3D) view, on the pull down menus, click on Camera, Standard Views, Iso. The screen may not appear to change if it was already on. I am going to leave Susan (girls name) in the picture as a reference point.
To draw a rectangle, click on Draw, Rectangle and click once on the very left corner (circled) and then the pointer to the far right corner (circled), but do not click a second time. In the bottom right corner, type in 12,14 and then the Enter key. You could also click on the speed button on the Getting Started Toolbar (circled) to create a rectangle. If you make a mistake you can click on Edit, Undo to go back as many steps as you wish. Refer to Dimensions on page 1. It is 12 x 14 . You can only get approximate numbers with pointing and clicking. To get exact numbers it is faster to type them in. If you need to change from metric to imperial units, click on, Window, Model Information, Units.

To pull up, or extrude, your rectangle into a 3D box, click on Tools, Push/Pull or click on the Getting Started Toolbar Push/Pull Tool speed button (circled). Click once inside of the Rectangle and pull up with the mouse.
When you have extruded the box this much, click once more on the inside of the Rectangle to turn off the Push/Pull tool. Notice the bottom right corner has the Distance (Height) of 80 (8 feet and 0 inches).

To draw a diagonal line to create a roof slope, click on Tools, Tape Measure, click on the top left corner, move the cursor down the wall, type 2, Enter. Now Draw, Line (or click on the Line Tool circled). Point the Line Tool at the Midpoint of the top middle until it says Midpoint in a popup box, click once to turn the Line Tool on. Move the pointer to the side edge and then click once to draw the line. Notice the Length of the line in the bottom right corner is approximately 64.
To draw another line from the top Midpoint, click once at the top midpoint, move your pointer to the right edge until it says Edge (in a popup box) and you see a dotted red line going across to the far side of the front face. Notice the length of this line is also 48.

Click on the Push/Pull Tool and click on the front face of the triangle on the roof. Push the cursor to the back of the roof and click off when it says (back) face. You will have pushed this side of the roof off so that you end up with a sloping roof.

With the Push/Pull Tool still on, click on the front triangle face, push your cursor back, click at the back face to remove this side of the roof.

Use the Tape Measure to measure 2 in from each bottom corner and mark it. Now use the Rectangle Tool to draw a door in the end. See if you can get the dimensions close to those shown in the bottom right corner (80wide, 60high). Close will be good enough for this drawing. Camera, Zoom will get you closer in for greater accuracy.
Use the Draw, Arc Tool to draw this arc. 1. Click on the top left of the rectangle, 2. Click on the top right of the triangle and then 3. Move your pointer (cursor) to the top center where you wish the top center of the arc to be. When it is in the center you will see a blue line to the top center of the arc, Enter key. 4. Type 1 for the height of the Arc. 5. Click to complete the drawing of the arc.

Click on Tools, Eraser (or the Eraser circled on the Toolbar) to activate it. To erase the line separating the rectangle and the arc, click on the horizontal line.

You can also use the Pan Tool (white hand circled) to help position the building in the center of the screen. You can also use the Roller Ball on top of your mouse to make it smaller (or larger), if you have one. You could also use Camera menu, Zoom, Extents.
