The outside dream hooks our attention and teaches us what to
believe, beginning with the language that we speak. Language
is the core for understanding and communication between
humans. Every letter, every word in each language is an
agreement.

1. Consciousness A. The Dreaming Cantos

Action heroes moving I call the Dreaming Cantos.


grand decisions forward I am energy,
to creation; super that essence of the living

conscious effort turning universe, who dreams


future tense toward living this nightmare of our planet,
recreation; inner hellish lies of fear

dialogues of anxious and loathing. But with love


paradises-lost turn and true forgiveness, I
unexpressed at present. begin to dream anew.

2. In Lectio Divina Prologue

In Lectio Divina, In the summer of 2006, I discovered the books of


holy readings of Don Miguel Ruiz. It wasn’t exactly a New World,
their scripture, monks reflect but one I felt I had always known, but somehow we
had never been properly introduced. Things I had felt
on passages as open on an intuitive level as well as things I had learned on
conversations with an intellectual one suddenly were revealed to me in a
their God. And in that spirit metaphysical way. A fog lifted. The holy sun was
shining. And all summer long I would read his words
I’ve been reading words and then would write my own, attempting to digest

For better or for worse,
with every word, we make A thousand lives will orbit

Most questions can’t be answered

After the flood, the river
forgives the rain for falling, Fathom not the peaks

within our own life’s story.
The next day nothing remains

it tenders higher ground.

Faith is but a sail


boat drifting in a river
on this certain morning

underneath a navy
firmament enlightened
by a nuclear

Blue with love, the sea

an ever-flowing present. Scientists are certain
that the world is simply

forgotten but now reflecting
