HOW IS A REAL LIFE
CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY
STRUCTURED?
A Real Life Christian Community or RLCC
is a group composed of two to twelve LIFE
Groups. A LIFE Group is a small group
composed of three to twelve Covenant
Members. There are three kinds of members
in RLCC.
Covenant Members are those who are
committed to a particular community. They
are the ministry workers and the servant
leaders serving in that community as well as
in RLCC.
Probationary members are those who
are either in the process of becoming
Covenant Members or have been Covenant
Members before but are currently under
probation because they are not able to fulfill
their covenant promises. Probationary
members who eventually are not able to
fulfill their promises during their probation
period are asked to become Regular
Members instead.
Regular Members are those who are
considered members of RLCC but are not
members of any community.
WHO LEADS A REAL LIFE
CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY?
A Real Life Christian Community is led by
a Community Overseer with the assistance
of other servant leaders who together form
a team called the IMPACT (Integrated
Ministry Planning and Coordinating
Team). Each servant leader leads a team of
other servant leaders and workers who

together fulfill the following ministries:
C.A.R.E. –Comforting, Assisting,
Restoring and Encouraging one another. Now you can be a part of a
spiritual family where you can
E.Q.U.I.P. –Equipping Qualified, Useful
and Interdependent People for service to experience the…
God.

W.O.R.K.S. –Workers Offering
Responsible Kingdom Service.

R.E.A.C.H. –Reaching, Evangelizing
And Converting Hearts.

WHAT IS A REAL LIFE
CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY?
A Real Life Christian Community is a
group of saved people, numbering not less
than 40 but not more than 120, bonded
together by the following Christian values:
single purpose, selfless pursuit, small-
group perspective, servant posture, steady
progress and a shining proclamation.
We believe 40 people is the beginning
of community, while 120 is the maximum
number for any group to still experience
community.
Each Real Life Christian Community is
a self-contained social environment where
a Christian can meet most if not all of his
or her pastoral care needs such as the need
for comfort in times of sickness, material
assistance, spiritual growth and ministry
empowerment (CARE).
A Real Life Christian Community is a
purpose-driven organization. It seeks to
fulfill the purpose of God for His people
through the power of the Holy Spirit and
the guidance of the word of God. This
involves winning the lost to faith in Christ,
integrating them into the community, and
nurturing them until they grow, mature
and multiply.
WHY DO YOU NEED TO
JOIN A REAL LIFE
CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY?
It takes a real community to grow a
Christian! Each person is like a seed. A
seed can only grow if it is placed in a good
nurturing soil or environment. It needs
enough sunshine and rain, and also a rich
soil. It needs tender loving care in order to
grow and bear fruit. In the same manner,
you are like a seed that needs a good
Christian environment in order to grow. A
Real Life Christian Community is that
place for you to grow and serve the Lord.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A REAL
LIFE CHRISTIAN
COMMUNITY?
When you join a Real Life Christian
Community, you will experience:
1.Common Interest Activities – You
will gather regularly with others who do
the same things you enjoy.
2.Constant Interaction – You will
have the opportunity to interact with
friends who are like you.
3.Chosen Interdependence – You
will be part of a caring and loving
spiritual family.
4.Conscious Individuality – You will
be affirmed for who you really are.
5.Corporate Identity – You will be
part of a group with a unique identity.
6.Creative Internalization – You will
be encouraged, together with others, to
solve community problems and come up
with effective solutions.
7.Covenant Inclusion – God will use
you together with others to build a true
covenant community.
HOW DO YOU JOIN A REAL
LIFE CHRISTIAN
COMMUNITY?
Anyone can join a Real Life Christian
Community provided he or she is…
1.A born-again Christian
2.Old enough to make his or her own
decision
3.Willing to fulfill the PROMISE of a
Covenant Member for at least one year:
The PROMISE is as follows:
Prioritize and participate in the life
and ministry of your community.
Reach out and recruit new members.
Obtain sufficient training for works
of ministry.
Maintain godliness and holiness of
lifestyle at all times.
Invest in God’s work through tithing
and other forms of giving.
Serve in a ministry together with
others.
Encourage other members to fulfill
their covenant promises.
If you qualify, then you must join a CARE
Group and go through a material called
Developing Relationships. After this
you will be evaluated. If you pass the
evaluated, you will be asked to commit
yourself as a Covenant Member of your
LIFE Group for at least one year.
