This is an 18 month project with our client in Albany, NY

Mandatory Requirements: Associates degree Must have a minimum of two years application development experience using one or more of the following concepts and technologies: Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Development, UML, XML, N-tiered client/server development, Web services, IBM HTTP Server Must have a minimum of two years experience performing development work in one or more of the following specialty areas: RDMS, C++ , Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Studio .Net (or latest version), IIS, COM+, Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g, or higher, Windows NT/2000/XP (or latest version of Microsoft Operating System), GUI Desirable Experience: At least 3 years experience in client, business tier and data tier application development of complex, n-tiered client-server applications using .NET At least 3 years experience developing applications using all of the following within the .NET 3.0 or later framework: VB.NET, WCF, WPF At least 3 years experience using SQL, PL/SQL writing stored procedures, functions, preferable in Oracle 10g or higher At least 3 years experience writing unit tests and running regression/integration tests At least 2 years experience in performing knowledge transfer to client staff of programming techniques supporting the development of n-tiered client-server applications. (Provide concrete work experience not theory). Job Description: The Client Server Programmer candidates should be experienced and highly dynamic, be a creative and motivated type of individual with an Information Technology background.

The selected candidates will need to quickly understand the functionality supporting the CAMP project and its effect on the user community in order to be effective members of the team.

These individuals will assist with the CAMP transformation of the application to a .NET based architecture, eliminating the reliance on the current framework based on the Foundation for Cooperative Processing (FCP). They will be performing activities related to writing the instruction code using WCF, WPF and .Net, testing modules and components, and providing guidance on best practices and standards for the members of the development team. They will participate in the integration of components and linking the new architecture to the existing FCP platform to ensure functionality is correctly developed.

The following activities are indicative of the assignments/outcomes expected of this individual: Define and develop system and user requirements for the re-engineering of one of the core functional systems Participation in requirement and design sessions Modeling and documenting solutions for changes and enhancements Assist the Application Development team in preparing technical designs and perform construction activities Will work as part of the development team to perform technical activities related to writing the instruction code using WCF, WPF and .net and testing modules and components Will participate in the integration of components and linking the new architecture to the existing platform to ensure functionality is correctly developed Supporting the application through the testing and implementation phases Developing appropriate system documentation,
