WORK EXPERIENCE With an IT experience of around three and half years working with Infosys in various technologies like

C, Java Scripts and Oracle on UNIX platform I am looking for ambitious opportunities to enhance my career. Within Infosys, I have played key role in all stages of the Product Development Life Cycle like design, development, implementation and Production Support activities. This also includes 6 months training on various basic modules such as RDBMS, analysis of algorithms, programming fundamentals etc. Infosys Technologies Ltd. Leading universal, retail and corporate banks worldwide leverage the power of Finacle to transform their business. Finacles list of global clients includes ANZ, IDB, ABN AMRO, ICICI Bank, UTI Bank, Credit Suisse, DBS Bank, Emirates NBD, Arab National Bank, First Bank of Nigeria and Union Bank of the Philippines, Union Bank of California to name just a few. KEY PROJECTS 1. Modularization of Finacle Core Overview: The main goal of this project is to develop an architecture to break down Finacle Core into independent deployable and Licensable modules to cater Banks requirement of specific modules like LOANS, CASA, TERM DEPOSITS, PAYMENTS etc. The main hurdle of this project is to modularize the whole Finacle Core with minimal changes in existing code and functionality. Also, we had to develop various tools which help us to accumulate data, analyze them and suggest various interface points for modularizations. Team strength : 8 members (A Project manager, 2 Technical leads, 2 Technical Analysts, 1 senior DV and 2 junior DVs) : C, Oracle, UNIX and shell script Python. : TOAD, GDB and Finacle specific tools. FAST, FDF, IAT, ExtractQuery etc.

My Role in the team : (Technical Analyst) - Design the Approach for Modularization along with the PM and Leads. - Develop various tools for data collection and analysis - Modularization of Finacle tables and controlling cross-module table access from codes independently. - Test the approach with POCs Mentoring DVs. 2. Custom BUFMAN - A Database Layer for key based DB Operation Overview: In Finacle, we have BUFMAN(BUFfer MANager) utility for key based select operation from DB for product specific tables. This utility provides DB independence for all DB operations and caching mechanism and thus improves overall system performance. But to cater banks specific requirements which is not available in the product, Finacle provide bank level customizations. These customization results into creation of many custom tables. But due o frequent I/O DB operations on these tables without any effective mechanism/utility the overall system performance goes down significantly. The main purpose of this project is to address this issue and improve overall system performance.

My Role in the team : (Technical Analyst) - Technical Analyst. - Creating the approach design for Custom BUFMAN - Creating the DLD Along with for the same Mentor the junior DV. 3. BETA Customer support (DBS) Overview: This project involves providing technical and functional assistance to the beta customer DBS who has opted for the Finacle banking solution, version 10.2 (The latest version launched). The customer will be given complete support until the bank goes live with Finacle. DBS Taiwan, DBS UK, DBS Honk Kong, DBS Singapore and DBS China have already gone live with Finacle 10.2 with our support. The issues raised by customer are received by our team through a ticket recording mechanism and tracked to closure within the committed SLA timelines. The scope of this support also involves providing functional clarifications in cases where the customer is not clear of the product behavior. My Role in the team : (Senior System Engineer) - Solving techno-functional issues. - SME for issues related to Multi-Entity. - Code review activity. - Participation in daily DBS call where there is a status check and SLA commitments for issues are made. - Address high priority Show stopper issues. - Communication across teams. Mentor the junior DVs.

4. Multi-Entity Set Up Overview: Multi Entity (ME) is one of the key features of Finacle which allows it serve multiple and distinct entities of a bank only on one Finale instance. In this project, I was given the task of fine tuning the ME set up process. I have been assigned this project along with DBS Beta Support activity as an extra initiative.

My Role in the team : (Senior Systems Engineer) Study the ME functionality in Baking and its existing set up process and list down the various steps which can be automated or fine tuned. Written various SQL and shell scripts to automate the manual steps involved in the ME installation and modified all the required SQL files in order to suit the automation script Documented all the processes and also common mistakes for all further ME installations Successfully helped in ME installation using the new process in DBS Bank, Raiffeisen Bank and internal Testing Team. Currently I am SME for Multi-Entity functionality and installation 5. Design of Debugging Portal Overview: Under this project, I have been assigned the task of making a portal which gives details of various debugging techniques

used in Finacle like debugging core dumps in Unix, reading various Finacle specific logs etc. I have taken this along with DBS Beta Support activity as an extra initiative Team strength Technologies : 3 members (A Project manager, 1 project leads, 1 DV) : MS SharePoint

My Role in the team : (Senior Systems Engineer) Design the overall layout of the portal and maintains the same. Review and update all the contents in the portal with visual diagram and examples. This portal includes various debugging techniques like o Debugging Core Dumps with advance tools like Malloc, SMART Tools etc. o Debugging PL/SQL procedures. o Enabling and interpreting various Finacle logs etc. Later this portal was included in Finacle Academy for Freshers Training -

6. Finacle menu development Overview: This was my first project as I entered into production from training. Finacle operates through menus and this project involved development of a total 25 new menus. Being fresher, I have been assigned in support activity (Ticket Fixing) in module testing which helps me understanding the Finacle architecture in practical way.

My Role in the team : (Systems Engineer) I was assigned the task of fixing different issues coming during various testing stages. Got accustomed with the significance of all the different types of files used and their specific significance which helped me immensely in my later years.
