Save Borobudur Charity Golf Tournament, 23 October, 2011


25-10-2011 A one-day event of the Save Borobudur Charity Golf Tournament was organised by the Jogja and Central Java Hotels Association, under the auspices of UNESCO and the Friends of Borobudur, at the Mt. Merapi Golf Club on 23 October in 2010. Some 40 participants from local and international parties joined this event to show their support to UNESCOs Safeguarding Borobudur operation. More

A two-day Southeast Asia expert meeting concerning the 2005 Convention on the Diversity of Cultural Expressions was organised in Phnom Penh on 20-21 October 2011. Some 30 representatives from Cambodia, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam and France participated in this meeting which was organised by UNESCO and the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts.
