Currently, extending the algorithm to develop a robust and invariant representation of shapes (Master's Thesis). Interacted with graduate students and helped them with homework questions and software development for projects. Maintained class website and compiled nal grades. Research Intern, Speech Group, Hewlett Packard Laboratories, Bangalore (Spring 2004) Developed scripts for the Sphinx Speech Recognition System (from Carnegie Mellon University) for the inhouse Automatic Railway Reservation System. Communicated with faculty at CMU and developed a system training schedule that improved performance by 10-15%. Designed interactive tutorials for future lab employees and interns on optimal use of the Sphinx Engine.
