CIM

Grassroot

level

seminar

was

held

at

Chandigarh

(October

7th

and

8th).

S.D.Jeyakumar (CIM) and Varghese Jacob (CIM) were the resource persons. The journey was too long and it took about two days to travel by train. From Chandigarh, the next destination was a village at the border of Punjab near Ferozpur. The journey itself was interesting to experience the surrounding culture firsthand. The sessions were translated into Punjabi for the 20 remote village pastors (grassroot level leaders). Each of them has a congregation of about 50 believers. The training was conducted in the Hope Fellowship Church. Participants were excited about knowing the Rights of Indian Citizen and were challenged to think Biblically in many areas of management. The management topics were dealt at a very basic level. Participants made commitment to form a TRUST within six months of time. What will be required following the training, is continual monitoring in order to implement and actualize the training. In this light, Pastor Rohit of Hope Fellowship Church from Chandigarh who had invited us will undertake the follow up and monitoring alongside CIM. Upcoming program:
Management and Leadership Seminar for leaders of Gospel Echoing Missionary

Society (GEMS) from 9-11 November, 2011 at Bihar.
