For example, do not use a Java Data Bean client 7.5.2 to connect to a Siebel Server 7.5.3. Note: For the client and server to communicate correctly, the codepage of the Siebel server and client must be the same. If the client and server default codepages cannot be the same, you can alter the client codepage by setting the system property file.encoding to the proper codepage. webMethods Adapters System Requirements An adapter will support JVM 1.6 only if JVM 1.6 is supported by the client libraries. Note the following behavior change with IBM WebSphere MQ 7.0: The behavior of the MQQueueManager.getCharacterSet() method is slightly different between the version 6.0 and version 7.0 client. At version 6.0 the method returns the character set (CCSID) in use for the communications with the queue manager, which in this case is equivalent to the value that MQEnvironment.CCSID was set to when the connection was established. At version 7.0, the queue manager will attempt to use its own CCSID for communications with the client, and as such it is more appropriate that the MQQueueManager.getCharacterSet() method returns the queue manager's actual CCSID value. This value is independent of the value of MQEnvironment.CCSID, which can still be accessed by a client application.
