Chapter 1: Abstract
Airline Reservations Systems contain airline schedules, fare tariffs, passenger reservations and ticket records. An airlines inventory contains all flights with their available seats. The inventory of an airline is generally divided into service classes (e.g. First, Business or Economy class) and up to 26 booking classes, for which different prices and booking conditions apply. Inventory data is imported and maintained through a Schedule Distribution System over standardized interfaces. One of the core functions of the inventory management is the inventory control. Inventory control steers how many seats are available in the different booking classes, by opening and closing individual booking classes for sale. In combination with the fares and booking conditions stored in the Fare Quote System the price for each sold seat is determined.

Chapter 2: Feasibility Study

A feasibility study is a study made to decide whether or not the proposed system is worth-while. For all new study the requirement engineering process should start with a feasibility study. The input to the feasibility study is a set of business requirement; an outline description of the system is intended to support the business process. The result of feasibility study should be a report that recommends whether or not it is worth carrying on with the requirement engineering & system development process. The issue of whether or not the system contributes to business objective is critical is a system does not support these objective it has no real value to for the business.

2.1 Operation Feasibility

An estimate should be made to determine how much effort and care will go into the developing of the system including the training to be given to the user. Usually, people are reluctant to changes that come in their

progression. The computer initialization will certainly affected the turn over, transfer and employee job status. Hence an additional effort is to be made to train and educate the users on the new way of the system.

2.2

Technical Feasibility

The main consideration is to be given to the study of available resources of the organization where the software is to be implemented. Here the system analyst evaluates the technical merits of the system giving emphasis on the performance, Reliability, maintainability and productivity. By taking the consideration before developing the proposed system, the resources availability of the organization was studied. The organization was immense computer facilities equipped with sophisticated machines and the software hence this technically feasible.

2.3

Economic Feasibility

Economic feasibility is the most important and frequently used method for evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed system. It is very essential because the main goal of the proposed system is to have economically better result along with increased efficiency. Cost benefit analysis is usually performed for this purpose. It is the comparative study of the cost verses the benefit and savings that are expected from the proposed system. Since the organization is well equipped with the required hard ware, the project was found to be economically.

Chapter 3: Different Module of Project

This airflight reservation system of four different modules. These modules are interconnected to each other but still have there individual singnificance. These are as follows:2.

Registration Module

This module contains a log in page for already registered user and a sign up page for the new user. This module confirms that only authorized person can access its account for transaction. This module also contains a webpage in case user needs help about the website or in case facing any problem regarding transaction. This page is available through a link named contact us.
3.

Reservation Module
In this module a webpage containing forms regarding trip of the user is displayed. In this form user have to fill information such as

One way or Return trip. Source and destination. Departure and return date. Number of passangers either adults, children, infalts. Class prefered economic or business. It also provide a link for check flight status which provide details of flight available on a particular route, cost of ticket and ask the user for the continuation of the booking of the ticket.

4.

Transaction Module

This module contains a webpage which user have to fill the for the compeletion of transaction. Infromations such as

Name, mobile no and email-address of the passenger. Mode of payment either credit or debit card. Card type either visa or master card. Card number. Expiration date of the card. Pin number. At last the confirmation by the card holder either yes or no. These all information are compulsary and necessary to be filled by the user for the transaction to be done.

5.

Ticket Module
This page contains image of the ticket and option to print the ticket.
