We had marK bring in one of the ecoair unitS to try in our gear Shop. to tell you
the truth the information and story mark had told us about the unit seemed to good to be true. i wouldnt have believed that a simple unit could do what he said it could do. the unit was delivered and set up in middle of shop. the temperature at floor level increased 5 degrees within 5 minutes of unit being turned on. We also found that our overhead heaters didnt even come on when the overhead doors were open for a few minutes in the dead of winter. the other amazing thing was we had employees mention that it was the first time ever that they had entered the building in the morning and couldnt smell the oil in the air, as we do all our gear cutting with oil. i would highly recommend this unit for air quality and or air exchange to save on heating costs.

We move a very high volume of air (20,000

cubic feet per minute) through our system at a very low velocity. this high volume of slow moving air passes through the specially designed electrostatically charged filters to remove oil, grease, dust and other particulates .

the slow speed in which it moves allows the filters more time to grab these offending particles compared to a traditional roof-top filtration system. Whats more our system uses 1/7th of the power of a traditional system. the carbon in our ecocarbontm filterS is a

form of charcoal. the property of carbon we are interested in is its unique ability to bind all sorts of chemicals, but in particular, organic chemicals including poisonous gas and odorous compounds. activated carbon is particularly good at this job because the tiny pores left within the structure make a very large surface area relative to the weight of the carbon. it is also worthwhile remembering we breath air (a gas), not solids or liquids. everything we can smell is volatile, meaning it evaporates (converts to gas) and mixes with the air we breathe in.
