STLC2690 offers leading-edge integration and performance

The STLC2690 features Bluetooth 3.0 with a fully integrated FM RDS radio receiver and short-range FM RDS transmitter in a single-chip. It enables a new generation of media-rich mobile phones, Smartphones and other battery-driven portable devices. By combining Bluetooth wireless personal-area-network functionality with an FM radio transceiver in a single 65 nm chip, the STLC2690 offers leading-edge integration and performance. The STLC2690 provides ultra low power operation and features power saving host offloading techniques.

The STLC2690 is the lowest power consumption Bluetooth solution in the market and provides enhanced sensitivity (-90 dBm) and output power (10 dBm). With a variety of user interfaces (UART, SPI, PCM/I2S, and up to 16 GPIOs) and a limited number of external components (10), it allows very easy integration in a mobile platform. The integrated FM receiver sets a new world standard for receiver sensitivity and selectivity. With real-time programmable filters for optimum search and sensitivity

stability, the STLC2690 can also be used with integrated FM antennas. The device supports all deployed R(B)DS services and all worldwide FM bands (65 to 108 MHz). The STLC2690 delivers a stable and user-friendly FM transmission implementation with support for dual transmission in order to really enhance user experience in mobile applications.
