The demand for network technologies and communications is large and growing rapidly. Networking should be on-demand, with whomever or whatever they want, regardless of time or location. Looking at the tremendous interest from academia and industry to use NS2 Network simulator in the research field of Wired, Wireless and Satellite communications Networks, we organize this tutorial. During the last decade simulation has become a very powerful and an important tool for planning, designing and controlling complex system. Nowadays an error in real life costs a lot of money. Computer Simulations is a practical approach to the quantitative analysis of a network. Network simulators serve a variety of needs. Compared to the cost and time involved in setting up an entire test bed containing multiple networked computers, routers and data links, network simulators are relatively fast and inexpensive.
