Test Cases Summary Test Case - 3

Test Case 3-PESQ Call In essence, Test 3 requires a different test methodology. As for this Case UE3 will be attached to a MOS Box and eventually the MOS Box will be connected to LAPTOP A. The purpose of this test is to generate a long PSTN Call to a call generator setup at HQ ECM. Using UE3 through MOS Box. Setup Laptop A -MOS Box/MS1:MOC (PSTN Mobile originating call) -PS1:External GPS Receiver -Dongle/License Use the correct command sequence /script Mode: Lock Band to 3G(WCDMA Mode) Monitoring Aspect i)PESQ SCORE(Speech Quality) ii)Call Drop iii)Call Block

Combination of Test Cases

In-order to save time and cost, a practical approach have been initiated by transforming the combination of test cases into 4 rounds. Below are specification of each round. Round 1---------TEST CASE 1 + TEST CASE 4 (Drive Test) Round 2---------TEST CASE 2 + TEST CASE 5 (Drive Test) Round 3---------TEST CASE 3 + TEST CASE 6 (Drive Test) Round 4---------TEST CASE 7 (Static Test)

Caution
Tools Setup : Always setup one laptop at one time to avoid hassles Follow all the instructions accordingly. Log files must be created at every beginning of test. Log files must be named properly according to the ECM protocol YYMMDD_C_R_P_T_N where YY=year, MM=month, DD=day, C=cluster name, R=round number, T=Test Type (e.g. VCMOC for voice call MOC), N=Drive Tester initials. Compress together all of the drive test logs at the end of drive test with following naming YYMMDD_C_R_P.zip Run the script in-order to test the functionality before recording

15

Caution

Tools Setup : Always aware that the scanners RF readings must be better/higher then UE. Tune/adjust the RF cable gently in-order to get a better RSCP and EC/No Reading. Plug in all the equipments according to the sequence (eg.MS1-MS2PS1). Check all the equipment properties before start recording.

16

Caution

During Drive Test: Follow the orientation of route accordingly Speeding Rules -50/60kmph Monitor all the test accordingly, and always alert on notification by TEMS (E.g. Event Failure & Hardware Failure) Strictly follow all the protocols that have been set by ECM for each test.
