1. So oftware Installa ation

Please n note that all s software installation shou be runnin with administrator priv uld ng vilege of you ur compute er.

1.1. W Windows XP
Step 1. P Power off the SMH10. e

Note: Do not c connect the S SMH10 to your computer until softwar installation is complete r re n ed.

Step 2. Run the se etup program smh10ma m, anager-v1.0-s setup.exe, and then SM a MH10 Manag setup ger window w be starte as follows. will ed

Step 4. Click Install button afte choosing destination location of the program and then in er t nstallation will be st tarted.

Step 5. Click Finis button to complete the installa sh ation, then SMH10 Man S nager will be started e automatically.

Step 2. Run the setu program, smh10mana up ager-v1.0-setup.exe, then SMH10 Ma n anager Setup window p will be s started as fo ollows. In ca ase that you have 64-b OS, pleas run differ u bit se rent set-up program, smh10m manager-V1.0 0-setup_x64. .exe.

Note: Aw warning mess sage on Use Account C er Control windo ows may be popped up. Please selec Allow ct or select Yes button to proceed to the installlation of SMH10 Manage t n d er.

Step 6. A message box will disappear a after 10 sec conds, and it means th SMH10 is found he successf fully in the in nstallation.

Step 8. It may take u to 10 min up nutes to lead you the nex step. Pleas wait until you can see the next xt se e message window. e

Step 9. S Select Finish button to complete the installation to go to the final stage o the installa e of ation.

Troublesho ooting for fa ailure in Dev vice Driver Installation

If yo see the error message on device driver install ou e lation failure, please follo the steps below to ow do troubleshooting.

6. Device Driver Installation Wizard will be started again. Please repeat the steps from Step 6 to Step 10 to complete the installation.

2.2. Updating Firmwar re

Note: Firm mware restore function is available on in the com nly mputer where SMH10 ha been upda e ad ated. You need to use the same computer o firmware u update when you restore it.

2.4. Update Firmware from spe ecific file e

2.5. D Device Se ettings

You can set up some parameters of your SM H10 by using DEVICE SETTINGS m e s g S menu.
