Project Description
Medical Billing & Coding is a proprietary workflow application that allows to efficiently
managing the entire data management process. The system increases productivity,
provides scalability and ensures high quality deliverables.
Workflow constantly maintains current and historical data on all clients, tasks, batches and
process associates.
Additionally, it automates the processes of allocating and distributing work to large
number of process associates, process reports for detailed billing and coding.

Project Description
This project was to develop ANSI 837(Professional, Institutional, and Dental standards in
an electronic form), which are to send electronic claims in the HIPAA format ANSI version
4010a.These are commonly referred to as EDI standards. EDI refers to the transfer of
electronic data in a standard format.

This application was developed with two different Modules.

Data Entry Module:
Data Extraction Module.

Client was able to process claims electronically and send them to insurance companies and
also reduce the operating costs by using the web application integrated with OCR engine
to extract data from images.

Responsibilities
• Developed Automation module of allocation of work to different level of users.
• Involved in Client side validations of entire application.
• Conversion of Data in the form of text file using HIPPA format ANSI version 4010a.
• Generation of summary reports in the form of excel.
