PROGRAMME COURSE CREDIT HOUR SEMESTER SYNOPSIS: This course is designed to provide students with the theory and practical related to maintaining the personal computer. It is extensively discusses on PC architecture, communication, and PC troubleshooting. The student will taught more advance about maintenance of the system in order to enhance the knowledge and skills. COURSE OUTCOME: At the end of the course, students should be able to: i. ii. iii. iv. Configure (Hardware & Software) the PC and how to troubleshooting and overcome the problems. Describe and identify the Operating System environment and its architecture. Describe and setup network difference type of network. Prepare, support and maintain the ICT system.

Project 1(a) (individual): Network cabling practical works: Student has to produce straight and cross cables using the following network tools: UTP CAT5 RJ45 RJ45 Clamp Project 1(b) (individual): Student has to write a report (not more than 4000 words) from the previous academic visit based on the following requirements: i.
