Research Experience

Radar Clutter Modeling for Air Borne Radar [Paper sent to the guide]
(Guide: Prof. Amitabh Bhattacharya, Dept.of Electronics and Electrical Communication, IIT Kharagpur) _ Studied the Radar Clutter model used in land, sea and atmospheric clutter in case of ground based and air borne radar. _ From basics of clutter scattering studied the modeling of non-Gaussian clutter model. _Proposed a Radar Clutter modeling scheme based on statistical best fit. Design of Multichannel Asynchronous PISO [theoretical model ready; simulation going on] (Guide: Prof. Achintya Halder, Dept.of Electronics and Electrical Communication IIT Kharagpur) _Designed a Multichannel asynchronous writer process & a single channel asynchronous reader process doing simultaneous writing and reading on a memory block. _Total hardware implementation with simulation model obtained by behavioral modeling Xilinx is going on. Assessment of safe radiation levels from mobile communication [West Bengal govt. Sponsored project, going on, due on mid September2011] (Guide: Prof. Amitabh Bhattacharya, Dept.of Electronics and Electrical Communication, IIT Kharagpur) _Study of different International standards on Radiation _Study from literature available on biological effects of Radiation on humans Separation of Singing Voice From Music Accompaniment [work in progress] (Guide: Prof. Goutam Saha, Dept.of Electronics and Electrical Communication, IIT Kharagpur) _Trying to device a fully automatic way to achieve separation _Theoretical model partially developed but parameters & feasibility depend upon experimental results.
