Development of Smart Notice Board Using ARM and GSM

We can use this technology with the help of GSM system to develop a Smart Notice Board using this notice board we can send notice to all students and staff members in a couple of minutes. The product will have a keyboard which increases speed to typing of a message and no obstacles to manage the system. About ARM7: ARM7 is a generation of ARM processor designs. This generation introduced the Thumb 16-bit instruction set providing improved code density compared to previous designs. The most widely used ARM7 designs implement the ARMv4T architecture, but some implement ARMv3 or ARMv5TEJ. All these designs use Von Neumann architecture, thus the few versions comprising a cache do not separate data and instruction caches. It is a versatile processor designed for mobile devices and other low power electronics. This processor architecture is capable of up to 130 MIPS on a typical 0.13 m process. The ARM7TDMI processor core implements ARM Architecture v4T. The processor supports both 32-bit and 16-bit instructions via the ARM and Thumb instruction sets. ARM licenses the processor to various semiconductor companies, which design full chips based on the ARM processor architecture.

In the above system, we have one main system which receives message from user and explorers that message to every department followed by staff. Main system is designed with ARM7 Microcontroller with I2C support which stores message that user has given to explore. The main system also has a GSM modem the dispatch message to all staff members. This system pursues five clients which will be implemented in front of each department to view notices using LCD. If we generate any message through our system, system will send that message to staff members as well as to all clients that will be set up to every department. As message arrives to a client it will beep by every 1 minute to attention all students close to that message board.

If we write a message and place a time of interval then the message can be received at any time but it will be displayed only at interval time. Using this system, suppose we are intended to send a message to only one department we can also do so. We just need to choose the department that we want to send a message. Given message will display for the given department exactly as we can send message to staff only.
