KNITTED MEASUREMENTS Approximately 33"/84cm long x 3"/8cm wide GAUGE In Rib/Cable stitch, 29 sts and 21 rows = 4"/10cm In Stockinette stitch, 18 sts and 23 rows = 4/10cm SPECIAL TERMS Cable stitch (CS): Pass RH ndl in front, k 3rd and 4th sts keeping them on the ndl, k 1st and 2nd sts, slipping all 4 sts to RH ndl. Slit set-up row: Row 4 (RS): K1, p1, k1, p1, slip these 4 sts to holder. k1, p1, pass the RH ndl in front and k second st then k first st, p1, k1, slip these 6 sts to another holder, p1, k1, p1, k1. Work left side: Rows 5-11: Work on last 4 sts only, k the k sts and p the p sts as they face you for 7 rows. Break off yarn and slip these 4 sts on holder. Work center: Put the 6 center sts on ndl and work as follows: Row 5 (WS): P1, k1, p2, k1, p1. Row 6 (RS): K1, p1, pass the RH ndl in front and k second st then k first st, p1, k1.
