CONTENTS ======== SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS SETUP Uninstalling LAN Chat E n t e r p r i s e SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS =================== To run LAN Chat E n t e r p r i s e, your system must meet the following minimum requirements: - A 486 with a 66 MHz processor (Pentium processor recommended) - For Microsoft Windows 95: 8 MB of RAM minimum For Microsoft Windows NT: 16 MB of RAM minimum - For Microsoft Windows NT: It is recommended to run Service Pack 3 (or higher) - To 2,5 MB of hard-disk space - High Color Video Mode - Mouse - Modem for Internet Connections or Network Card for LAN SETUP ===== - CAUTION: LAN Chat E n t e r p r i s e requires propery installed TCP/IP connection. For use LAN Chat E n t e r p r i s e in Local Area Network you need install to TCP/IP Protocol first. To install TCP/IP Protocol use "Control Panel" -> "Network" -> Add -> Protocol -> Microsoft TCP/IP. If you are not connected to Internet and don't use DHCP you may use

TCP/IP address reserved for intranet network (192.168.*.*). If you use dial-up networking you need to connect to Internet BEFORE trying to send messages. Uninstalling LAN Chat E n t e r p r i s e ---------------------------------You can uninstall LAN Chat E n t e r p r i s e by carrying out the following steps: 1. If in your net a mail server is installed, LAN Chat E n t e r p r i s e will easily manage the task of sending and receiving e-mail. The program will inform you about new messages sent to your e-mail address. A lot of other options. LAN Chat E n t e r p r i s e provides following options: - Auto reply. If you are very busy and have no possibility to reply of it you are just temporarily away from your computer, you have the option of leaving messages for users. Anyone who will try to send you a message, will receive your auto reply; - Alarm.
