College is the best experience in your liIe and the Iirst step Ior starting your Iuture career.
Going to college is the Iirst step Ior your Iuture career and the beginning oI your liIe. It takes
time to choose the right career, to obtain an advanced degree, and get the job oI your dreams. II
one has base oI education, everyone can be successIul and obtain the job that she or he want. By
gathering inIormation in time, is less time oI waste to start your Iuture liIe as a proIessional.
AIter choosing a career is beneIicial to check any problems going on with and any speciIic skills
needed that could apply to the work. Although it takes time to Iind the right career people should
always check the background inIormation beIore starting college.
I. To become a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is my dream but I need to know what
it is.
A. A diagnostic medical sonographer is a highly-skilled proIessional who uses
specialized equipment to create images oI structures inside the human body.
B. Sonographers use a small device that detects sound waves that goes through the
computer creating an image oI an internal organ oI the human body.
C. The key responsibilities are to perIorm diagnostic procedures and obtaining
diagnostic images and also providing an oral or written summary oI the technical
Iindings to the physician about the medical diagnosis
II. Everyone should always check any issue going on with their career.
A. II there is a problem like news saying that hospitals aren`t accepting certiIicates
and you didn`t know, maybe you could have been unemployed.

B. For example, in the article oI 'The Newest College Credential by Motoko Rich
(2011), a student received a certiIicate Irom a program and was not inIormed that
he needed a higher degree.
C. On the other hand, it`s our responsibility to ask Ior the things we need to obtain to
get that job, like now that guy must be devastated that he is unemployed until he
gets a higher degree.
III. There are important skills and qualities needed Ior a job.
A. To be a sonographer the important skills needed are to adequately view
sonograms, including color distinctions and communicate eIIectively with
patients and other health care proIessionals.
B. Also, the other skills needed are to interact compassionately and eIIectively with
the sick or injured patients and as well as organize and accurately perIorm the
individual steps in a sonographic procedure in the proper sequence.
C. Lastly, the personal qualities is to have Iull use oI both hands, wrists and
shoulders, also to distinguish audible sounds and work standing on your Ieet 80
oI the time.
In conclusion, the key to obtain a great job is to get a degree by choosing a career, searching
any recent issue going on with the job, and knowing the skills needed to work in that career. My
job would be to get a high degree to work as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. It`s my
responsibility to check out the background and be aware that I need a high degree to obtain that
