Introduction

Small, light and easy to use are the highlights of our manual electrode tip dressers. Version M2 is a simple yet powerful solution for keeping your manual welding guns well-dressed and prepared. Thanks to its dimensions and minimal weight, it is extremely portable and flexible, so with one operator you are able to take care of the whole manufacturing plant. Cutter tools are available for all common types and sizes of electrode tips and are of the same standard and dimensions as for our stationary machines, so you can use identical tools for both! Use of cutter tools from our competitors is also possible. However, with the portable M2 machine the quality of the dressing result and electrode lifetime will heavily depend on the skills of the user. It is a lot easier to guarantee consistency with permanently installed machines and by giving the worker clear instructions through the weld timer or other external PLC (automatic suspension of welding, automatic limitation of dressing time, etc). For more precise dressing LUTZ Precision developed enhanced version of M2 called M2 Advanced.

Our specialisation in the field of tip dressers makes it possible for us to satisfy the diverse needs of our customers in the most widely different markets. In some market areas our customers use only our manual tip dressers which provide them the exact same cutter tools that are assembled in our automatic machines. By way of contrast, various premium manufacturers use the highest degree of automation currently available by using our Electrode management center. This is a wholly automated electrode tip dresser with integrated cap exchanger which assures maximum cap efficiency with constant high finishing quality.
