Introduction
WelcometotheIPSFteam. If you are a member of the Executive team, of the Regional Working Group (RWG) or a coordinator you have access to an official IPSF emailaccount. The account access (login and password) should always be transferred during the handover. Theaccount@ipsf.orgmustalwaysbelinkedto aGmailaccount. This guideline will help you to have your IPSF accountreadytouse. If you already have a Gmail account correctly setfromyourpredecessor,pleasegodirectlyto thelasttopic:Accountsettings. Official IPSF account Rules

Keepaprofessionallanguageincontactingyour IPSFteamoranyotherpersononbehalfofIPSF, do not use quotes, jokes or any other informal language. There is a standard signature that we use in IPSF, please refer to the topic on Set your signature in this guideline. In your IPSF signature, please only mention IPSF andeventuallyyourRegionalOffice(RO)andno other organisations. You may NOT have an additionalsignatureofanotherorganisationthis includesyourownlocalassociationone. The ROs are called IPSF xxRO and not IPSF xxRO.

Beforebeginningusing youremail,thereare somepointsyou shouldknow.

YouarenowrepresentingandworkingforIPSF, which is a nonpolitical, nonreligious and non profit organisation. Thus, any email written on behalf of IPSF (external, internal, within RWG, egroups, to professional contacts etc) should not allude to politics or any religion. This is the best way for everyone as your emails have the potential to reach anyone (student, professional, pharmacist or other organisations)throughouttheworld. Ifyouhavetobeawayfrominternetaccessorbeunavailableforanyreason,youshould inform the team overyour group with a "before leaving" message, which states the reasonofyourunavailability,thedurationofyourabsenceandhowtoreachyouincase ofemergencies.Nooneshoulddisappearatanytimewithoutsecuringalternativesthat ensuretheflowofwork.Yourpresenceiscrucialandabsencewouldwastetheteams energy.
