December 24: ANGEL

The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene

They have taken away the

Lord out of the sepulchre,
and we know not where they have laid him. Peter
therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came
to the sepulchre. So they ran both together: and the
other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the
sepulchre. nd he stooping down, and looking in, saw
the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. Then cometh
Simon Peter following him, and went into the
sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,
nd the napkin, that was about his head, not lying
with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place
by itself. Then went in also that other disciple, which
came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must
rise again from the dead. John 20:1-9
ere you surprised to find this present empty? So
was Peter when he into Jesus' tomb and found it
empty. But He was born to die for our sins and then
be resurrected from the dead. hat does
'resurrected' mean? How does the fact that Jesus is
alive effect our lives?


December 15: EYES
Look out the window. What do you see? Do you
see trees? How about the bright blue sky? God
made everything and His creation is beautiful!!! But
even all of the beauty He has created on this earth
can not be compared with what He has in store for
us when we love and obey him.
Read 1 Corinthians 2:9.

neither have entered into the heart of man, the things
which God hath

hat is the most beautiful thing you have seen?
December 16: BOAT
Jesus performed MANY miracles. God gave him that
ability! One of those miracleshappened while he and
his disciples were out on a boat.

go over unto the other side of the lake. nd they
launched forth. But as they sailed he fell asleep: and
there came down a storm of wind on the lake;

Did you know that every single snowflake is
different? There are no two snowflakes that are
exactly the same! God made you different and
unique as well. There is no one else like you! He had
a plan for your life before you were even born. He
knew what you would like and dislike and what you
are going to be when you grew up. He loves you
and created you to fulfill a special purpose!

December 12: PENNY
God gives us everything we have and He wants us to
cheerfully give part of it back to Him. Read 2
Corinthians 9:7 & D&C 119:4

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so
let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God
loveth a cheerful giver.

nd after that, those who have thus been tithed shall
pay one-tenth of all their interest annually; and this
shall be a standing law unto them forever, for my holy

How does God want us to feel when we give to Him?
December 13: SALT
$alt is used to enhance the flavors in food. n the
same way, God wants us to enhance the
goodness in each person! Read Matthew 5:13.

~Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his
savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth
good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden
under foot of men.

hat is one way that you can be the salt of the earth
for Jesus?
December 10- TURTLE
Turtles can't move very fast. They have to be patient
to get where they are going. God also is patient with
us.even when we do things He doesn't like.
Read 2 Peter 3:9.
~The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some
men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward,
not willing that any should perish, but that all should
come to repentance.
n what ways can you be patient with others like God
is patient with you?


December 6- CANDLE
Light the candle. Read Matthew 5: 14-16

~Ye are the light of the world. city that is set on an
hill cannot be hid. either do men light a candle, and
put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it
giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your
light so shine before men, that they may see your good
works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Jesus told His followers not to hide their light. hat
did He mean by this? How can we show the light of
Christ to others?
December 7- BIBLE & BOOK OF MORMON
God gives us His word through the Bible and Book
of Mormon. Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17
ll scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness: That the man of God
may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good
works

to live in a way that pleases God?

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when

Does food stay the same, even after a long time?
No, it changes when it gets old. The Lord never

December 3- HEART
Hearts remind us of love. We can and should love
others. But did you know that God loves us even
more??? Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth
not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not
easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in
iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things,
believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all
things.
How many things do we find about love after reading
these verses?
December 4- SOAP
Jesus washed his disciples feet because he wanted
to serve them. Even the $avior was humble enough
to serve others. Read John 13:5-17
