20, “Conduct detrimental to Club ~ Maximum fine of an amount equal to one week's
Zalary and/or suspension without pay for a period not to exceed four (4) weeks. (Fonduct
Saicimental to Club includes, but is not limited to, violation of any Team Rules or Regulations.)
In Addition, repeated violations of the abovedlisted discipline categories may result in
ecalation of the discipline. Fines may be doubled and then tripled for repeat violations, and
eSntinued violations thereafter may result in a fine or suspension without pay for conduct
detrimental.
Clubs must promptly notify a player of any discipline; notice of any club fine in the TBA
maximum category and of any “conduct detrimental’ fine or suspension must also be sent {0 |

the NFLPA.
‘ag stated in Arlicle XI, Section 5, of the 1993 Collective Bargaining Agreement, “The
Commissioner's disciplinary action will preclude or supersede disciplinary action by any club
for the same act or conduct.” Thus, for example, a Commissioner-imposed fine for throwing
football into the stands will supersede and substantially exceed the club fine of TBA.
