HANDS-FREE OPERATION

When the Hands-Free indicator (LED) is: off, hands-free operation is not enabled at the station and the icon is not displayed in Call Options Display. steady red, the station is standing by for hands-free operation. solid green, you are on a hands-free call. flashing green, you have muted the hands-free call. Using Hands-Free Operation 1 If the Hands-Free LED is off, enable it by pressing the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons simultaneously. 2 During an active call, press the Hands-Free option key. * There must be at least one float row. The number of fixed and float rows combined cannot exceed six.

A turret can have a combined total of up to six floating and fixed button rows. A turret must have at least one row of floating buttons. If a turret has more than one button module, the bottom six rows on the first button module are reserved for fixed and float buttons. 1 Press the Menu button. 2 Select More > Programming > User Prefs. 3 Press Float/Fixed Size. 4 Press Rows for Float to change the number of rows. 5 Press Rows for Fixed to change the number of rows. 6 Press Save.
INTERCOM DIRECTORY Press the Directory button on a Button Module to display

the Intercom Directory, a comprehensive listing of incompany intercom entries. Press the Page Up and Page Down keys on any Button Module displaying the Directory. The entries paginate on all Button Modules displaying the Directory. Search by pressing and holding the Sort option key to the right of the Directory Title Area. Enter a name when prompted. Sort by pressing the Sort option key. Press the option key for the sort method: A-Z or Most Recent. Place an Intercom call by pressing an Intercom entry. Hang up by pressing the Release button for the talk path side.

When Push To Talk is enabled: 1 Press the Push to Talk (PTT) key adjacent to any active channel by the channel. To turn on an inactive channel, press the PTT key, release it, and then press and hold it. 2 Release the PTT key when you are done talking.
REPLAY CLIP 1 When the Hands Free Speaker is enabled and not in use, press Replay on the Speaker Module.

Favorites is your Buttons sheet, with lines, speed dial phone numbers, and feature (function) keys. Press the Favorites button after using the Intercom directory to return the display to your Buttons sheet.

The last 20 seconds of audio (from all sources that were on) plays back over the Hands-Free Speaker. Any silence at the beginning of the clip is ignored. Red indicators light as the channels are active in the replay clip. A duration bar and second timer show the current location in the clip. 2 To start the same clip over, select Repeat during (or very shortly after) the replay. 3 To hear a new clip of the most recent 20 seconds, select Replay again during or after a replay.
