Duties and Responsibilities 1. Propose and agree a business strategy for your territory which will ensure our continued growth within the overall market. 2. Produce an effective territory call plan for field customer visits direct and joint visits with Distribution and relevant customer contacts each week to support the business strategy. 3. Call on existing and prospective customers to discuss their actual or potential needs and present suitable Molex proposals. 4. Following up all sales leads from companies within the territory for both Direct and Distribution sales. 5. Support local sales on all aspects of key account management are such as: maximising design opportunities, commercial negotiations European Lighting Industry Specialist Sales

6. Analyse the Sales Leads database and all POS Data and use to generate new customer visits and secure new business. 7. Sponsor New Product Developments and Technology Development projects required to meets the trends in the lighting industry and the future needs of our customers

Contacts Your internal contacts are sales management, members of the field service team, product management and industry marketing managers. Your external contacts are existing and prospective customers, Industry/research organisations, as and when appropriate, e.g. Standard committees, etc. Problem Solving Consider customer needs and recommend appropriate Molex connector, integrated products or application tooling solutions. Take responsibility for solving product quality and delivery problems. Facilitate resolution of invoice and despatch queries. Decision Making Upon customer requests, you would suggest to and seek approval from, our manufacturing Plants to provide appropriate response to commercial issues. Control of Assets Company car, sample cases, mobile phone and laptop.

__________________________________________________________________ Education The job Holder will normally hold an electrical/mechanical engineering degree. Any additional relevant business/marketing studies are an advantage. Language The job holder will have a sound knowledge in English, French & Dutch, both spoken as written and knowledge of any additional European Language is a distinct advantage. Experience Minimum of four a five years experience in a direct selling position, in the electromechanical market. The candidate has experience working in a multicultural corporate environment. Other Skills Extensive connector/interconnect product knowledge together with a wide market knowledge. Current valid driving licence Confident negotiator Strong communication and presentation skills Interpersonal skills Motivational Traits Creativity, tenacity, drive, enthusiasm, analytical skills, desire to succeed, selfstarter.
