It was named ABSOLUTION because the man here is being sorry for all he has done wrong. Title of Work: PERA NA ( MONEY) This painting talks about prostitution. He named it as such because this was a common sight in Divisoria and thats what he sees when he comes home late at night. He finds it unethical for women to do this but he is convinced that this job is the only way for these women to survive. He depicted the sick practices of modern day Filipino Christians and that was texting during the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist. He finds that practice offensive because for him, prayer time should be an intimate time between an individual and God.
