Fontanas ad campaign was inspired by the 1953 advertisement for the brands original scent, Youth-Dew, which featured the silhouette of a nude woman stepping into a bath, says Aerin Lauder, the style and image director for Este Lauder. The original ad was very sensual, as is its latest incarnation: Fontana is captured in a filmy flesh-toned wrap, her lithe body bathed in sunlight.
