Education
- BA, Journalism Studies at the University of Shefield, 2009 - 2012 (expected) This course has taught me invaluable lessons in journalism. In addition to the technical knowledge I have gained in InDesign, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro and Burli, I have learned how to report in the local community. It has taught me to recognize the best angle of a story and, more importantly, it has taught me how to write. I expect to graduate with a 2.1 degree, ready to be a newspaper reporter. - International Baccalaureate (IB) at the British School of Rio de Janeiro, 2007 2008 Living and studying in Rio de Janeiro taught me a perspective not many other places can teach; the social backdrop of Brazil has incredible history, and there is much to report about it that the rest of the world doesnt know. Finding stories and places like this has become my passion ever since I left for university. - Institut International de Lancy in Switzerland, 2005 -2007 Learned French and perfected my English. The cultural shock of moving from Sao Paulo to Geneva taught me how to talk to any person or any background. It helped me understand different cultures more easily and open my mind to new ideas, which has undoubtedly contributed to my ability to find stories.
