AD-C Natural VLF Water Detector

The above picture is the complete set of AD-C Natural VLF Water Detector; the other is mainframe of it! All the markings on the screen are the English and Chinese! AD-C water detector is the upgrade product of the NEP-B water detector. AD-C: Curves are displaying directed in the instrument, 3 anti-jamming shifts and print by connecting to the mini-printer. AD-C: Special water detection tool, practical and costive, the measured data can be introduced by the U-disk storage.

Principle:
It uses relative parameters like resistivity variation produced by different geologic substance to determine underground water location. The principle is nearly the same with traditional resistivity prospector, but it enhances the speed more than 10 times.

Using method and result introduction:

It has three methods: "Two-pole profile", "Two-pole sounding" and Annual profile. We can get relative information such as water supply direction and distribution volume through "Two-pole profile" measurement. We can also know buried depth and thickness of underground aquifers through "Two-pole sounding" measurement, you can also know the water supply direction and determine water yield quickly by Annual profile measurement.

You should first set the equipment to "Two-pole profile" working mode, plug M into earth, N then you can do "Two-pole profile" measurement. After complete first point measurement, please move M with certain distance and direction. You should plug M into earth again N N when arriving at second point to do second measurement, and like that do measurement in subsequence. Unless you complete the whole line measurement, you can map Vs curves of this line, the following is the line curve graphs of "Two-pole profile" measurement on known underground water with different frequency.

In the whole mineral area, we can place several lines according to underground aquifers volume, as Graph 3:

Graph 3The array graph of line in field survey We can see from Graph 3 that water supply direction is South-North, so we placed 6 West-East lines, and Line No. 2 4 is across the aquifer, then we can draw the curve array 3 5 map in the same frequency as Graph 4:

Graph 4: Graphs of Vsabnormality curves variation in the same frequency The Vs curves of Line 2, 3, 4, 5 has obvious V type abnormality when crossing aquifer, while curves of Line 1 and 6 has no abnormal variation. Through "Two-pole profile" measurement we can know relative information like water supply direction and distribution volume etc.

Graph 5: MN change sounding After "Two-pole profile" measurement and analysis, we have had idea about water supply direction and distribution volume. When do "Two-pole sounding" measurement, we should place middle point O on aquifer, M, O and N should be on the same line, then move M and N in contrary direction O as the centre. The moving distance between M and N should be up to the change of depth (H), as Graph 6. The distance between M and N on the surface is the depth, so we can determine aquifer buried depth (H1) and thickness (H2) through the analysis of "Two-pole sounding" Vs abnormality curves. Mobile: +86-15221168650 Graph 7: Vs curves of "two-pole sounding" From Graph 7, we can see that there is obvious "V type" abnormal change from Point 5 to Point 7 in Vscurve, then we can infer that our aquifer buried depth is about 25m, the thickness is about 10m.

Annual profile measurement:

Its special annular profile array method can know water supply direction exactly and calculate water outflow etc. The following graph is the result of Annual profile measurement.

Above is a typical example of seeking third and fourth serial underground water. Underground water has three kinds: cavern water, bedrock fracture water and third &fourth serial water. Judging its sort correctly has big effect in accuracy of our prospect and data analysis. The geological result is very obvious from above example, which shows abnormal curves features of third &fourth serial underground water basically. The analysis result about choice of well location, water supply direction and outflow is nearly the same with real case. Only the judging outflow is about 50ton, but the real is 100ton.
