The Common Sense Partys is a third party political group that stands for the people. We listen to citizens opinions and take them into account. No ones voice be left unheard. We have created seven major reforms that confront the United States most current political issues; Abortion, Gun Control, the death penalty, environment, Tax reforms, Budget cuts, Universal Healthcare. In the past few decades, there have been numerous cases of violence due to unrestricted gun control. Our party believes that gun restrictions are the key to a safer society. The Americans main priority to bear arms is for self-protection. We believe that higher caliber weapons such assault rifles, sniper rifles and shotguns are unnecessary for protection. Under certain circumstances, we think that abortion should be allowed. For example, if a rape occurs we believe that the woman should have the right chooses whether to keep the baby or not. The death penalty will be removed from all states. You cant justify good examples by doing what your trying to prevent. Mistakes have been made in the past, sentencing the death penalty to the wrong person. When a persons life is at stake, there

is no margin for error. We should protect the environment because its where we live. By placing stricter regulation laws on factories, we can limit the amount of CO2 emissions and water pollution. We also plan to create solar plants, wind turbines and others renewable sources of energy. This will reduce our dependency on fossil fuels. We believe that the higher class should contribute more to help balance the economy. It is unfair that the top 1% is wealthier than the 99%. Our party believes that we should balance the budget and make cuts to military expenditures. In 2010, the USA spent over 650 billion dollars solely on military spending. This includes 300,000 troops in over 150 countries. Our plan would cut it down by 30% percent this would allow us to reduce the national debt. The Common Sense party believes that all Americans should be protected regardless of income. Universal healthcare would allow for children with preexisting conditions to be insured. Not only would this benefit every citizen but would also spike an increase in jobs such as doctors and nurses in the medical field. Our mission is to represent the people of the United States of America to the best of our ability. Working together we can create a better nation. We take into account every citizens idea and work together to solve the issues that are affecting our nation. We can help better the nation by addressing one problem at a time.
