Mention 9 teacher competencies and explain their influence on FLT.

Make sure you do not take them all from one single domain

1- Subject-matter knowledge A teacher should read books and journals on the subject s/he teaches. S/he should have a good background in basic subject area: the art, mathematics, scienceetc. This way, s/he will be equipped with answers of any possible questions. 2- Pedagogical capabilities Teachers should use a variety of methods in their teaching. They should use multiple teaching strategies to engage students. They should practice effective classroom management. They must have good time management skills and always values the importance of time. S/he should be a good leader and a good friend. hey should motivate their students to be better. 3- Communications skills Teachers should have the skill to communicate with their students. They also should be interact with families , colleagues and the society to support the learning environment. 4- Equity A teacher should be fair and treat his/her students equally. 5- Understanding A teacher should understands their students' level of development to meet their needs. The best teachers care about their students as individuals and offer them help. Actually, they treat their students as human beings. They should also understands the culture so they can design meaningful learning experiences and behave appropriately. They should also understands how to teach .

6- Evaluation A good teacher always evaluate themselves and what the teach. So, they can develop themselves and be up-to-date. They evaluate their teaching methods and techniques. This is because they want to have the best outcomes. 7- Confidence Teachers should always have self-confidence. S/he should not be nervous or shy during the class. They should be able to install confidence in their classes. 8- Professionalism A teacher should understand his/her responsibilities. S/he should be well prepared before going to the class. S/he should be dedicated to his work. S/he should believe in his mission. S/he should learn from experience and supervision. S/he should look forward to the improvement in the field. S/he should be creative and imaginative . 9- Problem solving. A teacher should think critically about teaching and learning.. They should teach students to face difficulties.
