Play Calling
When a play is being called, the first thing the coach will do is tell the huddle what Formation to line up in. Example: Base, Nasty, Mesh. Nasty Adjustment
Nasty could be called from any formation. Its really simple. If you are the PLAY SIDE End, you take a 1 yd. split. The coaches will

LE-RE ONLYYou must understand which side of the line the ball will be run to (Left of C or Right of C). If PLAY SIDE is
your side, you line up with a 1yd. Nasty split off of your offensive tackle. We may have you line up with a 2-3yd split, you will be told when and if to do so, dont worry.

Line Blocking Rules: Power Scheme
LE- Down LT- Down LG- Pulls right, Comes around last lineman. Make sure to come around as close and tight to the last lineman as possible, seal the play side LB to the inside, with your head to the outside. If the DE comes through our BB, take him first. C- MA Man Away Make sure to take good flat 1st step with your left foot RG- ON RT- ON RT- ON

Backs
WB- Line up 1 yd off and 1yd behind RE, seal off nearest LB to the inside, with your head on the outside. If NASTY is called, line up with a 7yd split between you and RT, go in motion on SET. On HUT, turn up field and Yell at DE. Take good angle to seal off either LB or Corner to the inside, with your head on the outside. BB- Seal DE to outside or kick him out with your head on the inside. Stay as close to the line of scrimmage as possible in order to get the best angle on the DE. FB- Run straight to the #6 hole and seal off Corner to the outside with your head on the inside. Come inside the block of the BB on the DE. If the hole has collapsed, bounce it outside. TB- Get the snap from the center, take one step with right/to right to open hips (gives look of wanting to run a wide sweep to defense), tuck ball in on right side/right arm holding the ball. After first step cut up into #6 hole. -Allow the LG and FB to get out in front so you can read their blocks -Stay in the #6 hole, follow the block of the FB. If the hole is completely collapsed, bounce it outside.
