The Queen gets up very early. At seven oclock she has breakfast. She eats
toast and marmalade and drinks tea. After that, she reads all the
newspapers. At nine oclock the Queen reads information from British
politicians. She reads everything!

At one oclock it is time for lunch. The Queen and her husband, Prince
Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, have lunch together. Sometimes she invites
important people professors, judges, authors, artists, musicians,
diplomats to have lunch with her.
In the afternoon the Queen goes out to visit different places schools, hospitals, factories, art
10 galleries. She visits 470 places every year.
She has a meeting with the Prime Minister every Tuesday at half past six.
In the evening she likes going to the theatre, concerts, Royal Film Premieres, or to
a special dinner for charity. But sometimes she stays at home and watches TV! Her
favourite soap opera is Eastenders.

She goes to bed very late she is often the last person to turn off her light in
Buckingham Palace!
