ds during Depression in Bay of Bengal(from 05.12.2010 to 08.12.2010) Sector-wise damage reports for immediate relief assistance to the sectors, such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Sericulture, Housing, Roads & Buildings, Rural Water Supply, Minor Irrigation, Health Panchayat Raj, Municipal Administration, Gratuitous Relief, Temporary accommodation Flood, Clothing etc and Distribution of Essential Commodities Administrative sanction under State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) previously known as CRF Order issued. REVENUE (DM-I) DEPARTMENT G.O.Rt. No. 45. Dated:18-02-2011 O R D E R: During the month of December, 2010 a Depression in Bay of Bengal affected the State from 05.12.2010 to 08.12.2010. This Depression crossed the Andhra coast between Ongole and Machilipatnam on 08-12-2010. This calamity affected 15 districts, 442 Mandals and 5327 villages. Approximately 3169 houses were damaged. This also resulted in large scale devastation to 12.07 lakh hectares of agriculture and horticulture crops, besides affecting animal husbandry and fisheries sectors. This affected the livelihood of approximately 20 lakh small and marginal farmers of the state. This calamity also resulted in an extensive damage to roads and buildings, minor irrigation tanks of Panchayat Raj and urban local bodies infrastructure. 2. The following Departments have furnished reports on damages, sector-wise damages / losses caused due to heavy rains / floods which occurred during the period from 05-12-2010 to 08-12-2010 due to Depression in Bay of Bengal, for immediate relief, rescue and temporary restoration of works, which are of immediate nature as detailed below: FUNDS REQUIRED FOR SL IMMEDIATE SECTOR / ITEM NATURE OF RELIEF NO RELIEF / ASSISTANCE (RS. Relief assistance for fully damaged and severely 1.41 12 Housing damaged houses. 762.721 TOTAL After careful examination of the reports submitted by the respective Departments, Government hereby accord administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.762.721 Crores (Rupees seven hundred sixty two crore seventy two lakh and ten thousand only) as noted against each of the Heads of the Departments below, from State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) (Previously Calamity Relief Fund) towards relief assistance for the losses / damages caused due to heavy rains / floods occurred during the period from

Government hereby direct that the District Collectors, who have drawn the amount already under TR-27 and distributed the same to the beneficiaries of fully damaged and severely damaged houses shall not draw the amount now sanctioned. The District Collectors, who have not drawn the amounts for distributing to beneficiaries of fully damaged and severely damaged houses under TR-27 shall alone draw the amount and disburse to the affected people, duly submitting detailed report to the Government. All the Heads of the Departments/District Collectors concerned are directed to distribute the benefits and submit weekly expenditure statement, so as to enable this Department to submit the same to Ministry of Home Affairs (DM-I) Division, Govt. of India. The following Heads of Departments namely, the Commissioner of Agriculture, the Commissioner of Horticulture, the Director of Animal Husbandry, the Commissioner of Fisheries, the Commissioner of Sericulture shall furnish the list of beneficiaries in soft copy only in proforma already communicated, to the Govt. Similarly, the following Heads of Departments the Engineer-in-Chief (Roads & Buildings), the Engineer-in-Chief (RWS), the Engineerin-Chief (Irrigation Wing) Minor Irrigation, the Director of Health, the Engineer-in-Chief Panchayat Raj, thye Commissioner & Director, Municipal Administration, shall send detailed list of works in proforma already communicated in soft copy to Government. The Heads of Departments are requested to send proposals for release of funds by way of BROs separately. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide their U.O.
