Vice-President

Number of Positions 1 Responsibilities


Engage with external stakeholders Fundraising and selling of media club initiatives to external parties Willing and able to represent the Media and Entertainment Club in Public forums Leverage the wealth of contacts present in ISB to organize workshops and inter-institutional interaction(B-school and otherwise)

Leverage the alumni network for the betterment of the club and its members
Curious about all things pertaining to the field of media and entertainment Strong networking skills A competent public speaker

Pre-Requisites

Head of Internal Relations

Number of Positions 1 Responsibilities

To work extensively with the marketing club and seek out ways to synergize our clubs efforts wherever possible To play a leading role in the organization of a joint conclave between media, marketing and selected social clubs Develop a process to ensure media coverage for all significant ISB activities Develop a working relationship with media houses in Hyderabad

Develop and run internal communication initiatives

Pre-Requisites

Strong networking and communication skills Ability to multi-task and work within timelines

Head of New Media

Number of Positions 1 Responsibilities

To showcase the potential of new-media through a live project(s). In this regard, if interested candidates could share a tentative budget before Monday it would help me no end. Interface with new media companies and organize workshops at ISB with the same Work with selected social and professional clubs, in the pursuit of an idea and to create a video which has the potential to go viral

Identify any skill set that is missing in the New Media Elective being offered and develop a way to introduce the same
Help develop an understanding of business models and entrepreneurship in new media

Pre-Requisites

A background in new media and a sound understanding of the same A n idea for the afore-mentioned new media project

Head of Traditional Media


TV PRINT RADIO FILM

Number of Positions 1 Responsibilities

Create an understanding of the creative development process in the various forms of traditional media Drive industry engagement and exposure for the club and its individual members Understand and appreciate the various interest areas of club members and organize knowledge sharing activities for the same Conduct live projects to ensure practical application and understanding of what is being discussed and shared

Pre-Requisites

A background in traditional media The ability manage time effectively, especially considering this post would require the meeting of requests on short notice on a fairly regular basis

Head of Placement

Number of Positions 1 Responsibilities

Understand career aspirations of the club members and make a wish list of potential recruiters to target. Represent Media and Entertainment in Placom/CAS to facilitate placement in the sector Create, manage and share a database of information to keep our club members informed and up-to-date (the required material would be supplied by the members of the club itself)

Develop Job Preparation Manuals for different fields

Pre-Requisites

An ability to work with large groups of people and manage expectations effectively
