Each Artist-Vendor booth is 10W x 10D and includes one (1) 8 high back drape with two (2) 4 high drapes, one (1) 8 skirted table, one (1) 8 non-skirted table, two (2) tubular folding chairs, one (1) waste basket, one (1) 5amp/480 watt electrical outlet, one (1) 7 x 44 ID sign, one (1) 5 quart disposable sharps container, one (1) 4.3 cubic foot bio waste box and bag, four (4) Artist-Vendor laminates, (non transferable) and a web site listing on www.RhodeIslandTattooExpo.com with link.
Additional laminates are available for $60.00 each and can be purchased either in advance or during one of the load-in and set up times scheduled for Thursday, April 26, 2012 and Friday, April 27, 2012
All Artists/Vendors are responsible for bringing their own equipment including autoclave as well as furnishing any and all additional work lighting, mounting hardware, extension cords, consent/release forms, etc. Booth space does not include temporary Rhode Island Department of Health Tattoo Artist Practitioner or Body Piercing Technician License, water or carpeting. A complimentary copy area with two (2) digital copiers and one (1) thermal fax will be set up on site. Other supplies i.e. bandages, tape, paper towels, A&D ointment, gloves, etc. will be available on site at a cost.
All booths will be assigned in advance on a first come, first serve basis via a faxed floor plan once a completed ArtistVendor Registration form and payment in full is received. Exhibitor shall not sublet, share, split, or otherwise apportion any part of the booth space assigned.
Load-in and set up is scheduled for both Thursday, April 26, 2012 between 3pm and 10pm, (highly recommended), and Friday, April 27, 2012 between 10am and 4pm. Both times will be made available to all Artists and Vendors and may be utilized at their discretion. No load-in and set up will be permitted after the opening of the show.
All Artists and Vendors must be set up and ready to work by 5pm on Friday, April 27, 2012. Rhode Island Tattoo Expo, LLC reserves the right to reassign booth space with no refund if Artist or Vendor has not loaded in prior to show opening on Friday, April 27, 2012.
Exhibitor and its agents, employees and representatives will at all times comply with all federal, state, county, civic, and local laws and ordinances. Exhibitor shall be responsible for obtaining any and all licenses, permits or approvals required under state and local laws applicable to exhibitors particular activity. The exhibitor agrees to hold harmless Rhode Island Tattoo Expo, LLC, the Rhode Island Convention Center and any agent, employee or representative affiliated with of any and all types of liability, loss, damage, injury, accidents, fire, theft, war, acts of terrorism, natural disasters or acts of God. Rhode Island Tattoo Expo, LLC makes no representation or warranty regarding the success of the event, including, but not limited to, attendance, exhibitor participation, weather, or success of exhibitors booth.

1.) LICENSING:
The Rhode Island Department of Health requires by law that every tattoo artist and/or body piercer obtain a temporary license as either a Tattoo Artist Practitioner or Body Piercing Technician. The criteria for ALL individuals offering tattooing and/or body piercing at the Rhode Island Tattoo Expo is based on the following conditions being documented by the Rhode Island Department of Health Licensing Office in advance of the opening and/or prior to any tattooing or body piercing at the expo. Individual is already licensed within the state of Rhode Island verifiable through the states license verification system. OR Individual applies in advance of the expo and schedules, and successfully completes, a practical application exam. OR Individual submits the appropriate tattooing and/or body piercing license application to include: 1. Evidence of licensing or registration from another acceptable state, county or municipal authority or health agency authorizing that individual as a licensed tattoo artist and/or body piercer. 2. Show evidence of compliance with: The Occupational Safety and Health Administrations (OSHA) Blood Borne Pathogen Standards Current CPR certification
There are no other options that are acceptable. If an individual does not apply for or produce all of the necessary licensing and paperwork they will not be able to tattoo at the Rhode Island Tattoo Expo. This is non negotiable and is not up for interpretation or discussion.
